FYI- the baby in the pictures is my niece!Top 5 Reasons I could be a good fit:1-I'm a great cook, which means you get to have a full belly.2-You will see me smile far more often than frown.3-I want to see what the world has to offer for us, let's go on an adventure, even if it's just a day trip.4-I'm fun and surround myself with an amazing group of friends (it's so easy to judge people by the company they keep!)5-I'm a positive person, I am always looking for the silver lining.About me: I love being active, going on weekend adventures for a hike or a road trip, spending time with my friends, and trying new things. I'm one of the originals, I grew up just out side of DC and love living in the area. Need a tour guide? I can help!)About you:You're funny and can tell a good story. You're smart and adventurous, wanting to do things on the weekends. You aren't looking for someone to complete you because you're a complete person on your own. You'll challenge me, and be OK being challenged sometimes. You don't lie in bed until noon on the weekends, because you want to get up and see what the world has to offer you.You get excited about the little things and the big things, and want life to be an adventure. You have opinions. You know how to communicate. Coffee? Drinks at some random bar? I think the first meeting is different than the first date.

Where to start?! Ugh, I really hate these things! I never really know what to say and end up writing a novel on here that nobody reads anyway :)I'm a singe mom or 2 incredible kids. Obnoxious, spoiled, pig-headed and ungrateful, but incredible all the same. But then again, they are that age (8 and ***so I guess it is to be expected! This is my second go on meetville. I met a great guy on here but we both wanted different things out of life and relationships, so it was short lived. No hard feelings really, infact, as awkward as it may seem, I still rent from him because I haven't been able to afford to move. I plan on moving out as soon as my taxes come in this January though, sooner if I can afford to. He does his thing, I do mine, it's strictly a roommate thing, and if you ever saw us together it would be clear to see there is NO interest on either end any longer. However, that "failure" brought me back to meetville, wondering if there was anyone else out there that was the right someone for me. I'm not looking to just date or hang out. I'm looking for that person I can settle down with and have that ever after thing. I've been married and divorced, (more than once I have to admit) so I completely understand the fact that people have pasts and promise not to hold that against you. I have two kids, and I'm looking for someone who accepts my children, so I completely understand that most guys out their have children as well, and that priorities have changed for most people our age.I work. I wish I worked more, but in this economy I'm just grateful I have a job at all. I was a dispatcher/office manager for a towing company up until the companies merged in december and I found myself unemployed. I collect my unemployment and look for job opportunities regularly. I'm also a certified tax preparer so I have full time work Jan-April and part time work starting in october or november depending on when they start training new employees. (this year it's october). All that I ask is that you have some kind of employment and the dedication to stay employed!I do drive, but my transmission went up in my truck and it was going to cost more than the vehicle was worth to fix it, so I opted to sell it. So yes I drive, just not right now :(I'm pretty open minded when it comes to things to do, my interests vary and I'm always willing to try almost anything once. Family outings and holidays are big things for me, I'd like someone who enjoys them as much as I do. I don't really know what else to write, so send me a message if you want to talk... I have *** want to use that to see more recent pictures and get a better feel for my personality. A first date could easily be compared to a two-sided interview. After all isn't that what we're essentially doing? Questioning each other about our likes, dislikes, etc to see if we feel compatible? Almost everyone on here says "dinner and a movie" but a movie leaves very little time for conversation. I'm open to all ideas, but would prefer something that gives us ample time to really connect and get to know each other.
