Honestly I've never done internet dating before & I'm skeptical that anything will come of this- But I always said there's nothing I wouldn't try and I guess this qualifies as nothing. Right now I'm focused on my career. My daughter is in high school & our plan is to move after she graduates. I work full time as a recovery counselor for men getting out of prison and I'm also a personal trainer on the side. My career is my passion. I love my job & the clients that I work with. I believe everything happens for a reason & all the struggles I've been through were to make me stronger & put me on the path I am today, to help inspire others to do the same. I have a great life -- friends, family, experiences. But I think sharing that life would be even more fun. I am looking for a man I can connect with, who gets my sarcasm and thinks it's witty, who is as comfortable in the middle of a big party as he is eating dinner at home watching Homeland, who is generally a happy person, and who is as excited about spending time with me as I am about spending time with him. I like great wine and cold beers. Flip flops and sneaks are way more comfortable than heels, but I tend to choose the latter when I get dressed on a weekday morning. I'm good about working out regularly. I have a strong weakness for Haagen Daaz Caramel Cone ice cream. (The relationship between those last two points is not lost on me.) I'm a sucker for good spelling. My secret dream job would be a dancer - that hasn't changed since I was 12. I received the best compliment of my life recently: that I was "incredibly kind." Dunkin Donuts tastes way better Starbucks. I make a few New Year's Resolutions each year...and actually keep them. I'm up for anything new, old, fun, random, wacky, laid-back, or adventurous. If I HAD to be the one picking, maybe I'd say say grab drinks at a bar. Could be a sports bar. Could be a karoake bar. Could be a beach bar. Could be a bar at a nice restaurant. How's that?
