I also find it funny that I have lived in so many places since I tend to be more of a planner. But, as long as you have a job and a place to live, it's good to see what's out there (even if I realized I like where I started!).I often laugh at parts of movies/tv shows that other people don't pick up on...and then miss the main zingers—I think this sums me up in a nutshell—that is, if that makes any sense to you.In the right circumstance I can be adventurous/spontaneous, but I do tend to be a homebody. Someone who can accept that while giving me a push to not stay at home working on some random project (which I always have going) would be great! It's not like pulling teeth by any means, just a bit of motivation at the end of a long work week. Full-disclosure: When I go out I always say I can only stay for a few minutes..just to get myself off the hook...and then usually end up staying most of the time. Getting lost in a bookstore or the library is definitely an indulgence I allow myself once in awhile—and I balance that with getting outside with the dogs and, ideally, going on a hike (nature walk?).One of my major life goals: build my own house. Although it will probably take me forever—it is a romantic notion that I'd like to entertain. Oh, yes, and trying to learn as many languages as I can—just have to get my hands on all those Rosetta Stones!

I guess I should tell you I am a little shy which is part of the reason I'm on here, the other part is I just don't go anyplace that I can meet someone.Just a little update- I have lost three people in my family this year. It has made me realize more than ever how short life really is. I am tired of being alone and would love to find a special man to share my live with (but that doesn't mean that I will "settle" I can wait for the right man). I started dating last year and have discovered what I like and what I don't. I do like to text at least once or twice a day, if you can go days without being in contact with me it's not gonna work. If everything you say is negative, and I'm not talking about you had a bad day and want to vent, I mean like you can't say one nice thing... it's not gonna work. If we're dating for months and you don't consider me your "girlfriend" or something I think that's a problem. I'm looking for ONE man. I don't need or want to date 5 guys at a time, I just want ONE good man. I would love to be off this site permanently. I'm not looking for perfection just someone perfect for me. Well a first date could be anything really. I have found that it doesn't matter where you go, if you're with the right person just walking around talking could be a great time.
