I would like to meet someone who regards himself as a worthwhile, positive person. Someone who is comfortable in his own skin, There is also something I find very compelling about a mischievous grin. A sense of adventure and spontaneity is attractive in a man to me as well. Most of all, I would like to spend time with a person that I can admire, who has strong convictions, and who lives out his faith as easily as drawing breath.Sunday mornings will find me with my church family, praising and worshiping God, and recharging my spiritual batteries to face the week. My children are my greatest accomplishment, and they bring me much joy (most of the time).Just recently I became a grandmother to a beautiful baby boy, and I couldn't be more proud. I very much enjoy my work, and the people I work with. Fall is my favorite season and I love the color red. I enjoy small festivals, historic places and crossword puzzles.. A perfect first date would start out with a casual dinner at a nice restaurant, where we could talk and get to know each other. Then maybe "people-watch" as we walk or sit on a park bench.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I have been on this site off and on for the past couple of years and I don't think it's for me anymore. There are a few flirts here and there, an *** 'Hi', then it stops. It works both ways and I get that. I'm sure you have felt the same disappointment. It finally occurred to me that I am really very content and do not need to try to find someone using this venue. I have a great job - been here 32 years, and have made many life long friends. I have two great kids and an adorable grandson. At 55 years old I am starting to run! I am learning how to play the bagpipes, a goal that had been on my bucket list for far too long. I would like to learn to blow glass - I volunteer for SE MN small dog rescue and am planning for an event coming up in February. I am into eating organically grown fruits and vegetables and I eat very little processed foods. If it grows on a plant, eat it. If it was made in a plant, don't. WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING! I don't need to meet anyone! I have friends and family who love me - some even adore me! lol. Why do we think we need this BS? No one follows through or is interested in nourishing a new friendship so why do we bother? We continue to put ourselves in a position that often makes us feel expendable, useless and unworthy. Why do we do that? I know there are some genuinely nice guys out there who are not looking for the trophy girlfriend with big hooters. When I see a man ***years old that sets his criteria to ***, I cringe. Seriously? Women that age aren't interested in your kids, your paunch or your balding head and you better make sure Mr. Wiggly works non-stop. If if does, I applaud you! If not, what the hell are you thinking? Reality check please. Well, that's all for now! I'm going to mosey along and enjoy my wonderful life, a life that felt empty until I really started to count my blessings. I honestly wish you much success here. I thought I needed you but I really don't. Take care! A nice light meal is a good ice-breaker, maybe a beer or glass of wine. Meet for coffee and conversation.

Just coming out of a relationship and looking for a good friend most of all. I enjoy so many things I'm sure we can find lots to do and/or talk about. I am enthusiastic, I love to learn, and I am interested in nearly everything. I am deeply loving and compassionate, and I try to apply those qualities to every aspect of my life (though like any of us I sometimes fall short). I can cheer you up when you need it, and snuggle with you just because. I am honorable and faithful, I don't cheat, I don't lie, and I don't squelch on a bet. And I love to have fun, with my special someone most of all, but able to make my own too. I know I'm not for everyone. But that's ok - I'm just looking for one. I'm actually as sincere a person as you could ever meet, even though I do like to joke around. I spend my spare time trying to bring a nice old farm back to life, and finding out how much I have to learn about that! Have 3 horses, the kindest and happiest dog ever, and one tractor too many. I love bluegrass music and play -- sort of -- piano, guitar, fiddle, and banjo. Country life is precious to me; I wouldn't want to live any other way. I've been out West a lot, have worked as a wrangler and mule packer.- and the fireflies best of all. Career-wise, I worked in the computer field for a while before going to vet school, then practiced for a time, and now I help develop Web services for my fellow veterinarians. Left-leaning in most of my social and political views, though not all. Thanks for stopping by. Please feel free to write if just to chat - I value friendships of many kinds! Something casual where we can walk around and talk, maybe browse or window shop somewhere interesting. Just a thought. A bite to eat somewhere would be fine too.
