Just coming out of a relationship and looking for a good friend most of all. I enjoy so many things I'm sure we can find lots to do and/or talk about. I am enthusiastic, I love to learn, and I am interested in nearly everything. I am deeply loving and compassionate, and I try to apply those qualities to every aspect of my life (though like any of us I sometimes fall short). I can cheer you up when you need it, and snuggle with you just because. I am honorable and faithful, I don't cheat, I don't lie, and I don't squelch on a bet. And I love to have fun, with my special someone most of all, but able to make my own too. I know I'm not for everyone. But that's ok - I'm just looking for one. I'm actually as sincere a person as you could ever meet, even though I do like to joke around. I spend my spare time trying to bring a nice old farm back to life, and finding out how much I have to learn about that! Have 3 horses, the kindest and happiest dog ever, and one tractor too many. I love bluegrass music and play -- sort of -- piano, guitar, fiddle, and banjo. Country life is precious to me; I wouldn't want to live any other way. I've been out West a lot, have worked as a wrangler and mule packer.- and the fireflies best of all. Career-wise, I worked in the computer field for a while before going to vet school, then practiced for a time, and now I help develop Web services for my fellow veterinarians.     Hobbies? what is that? I haven't got any other than my business, dogs and family! I do like to hike and camp though! I came back here 3 years ago this April and haven't traveled since. I am pretty much up for anything new...except maybe bungee jumping Lol. I like to watch movies ...preferably at home as I can relax and drink wine and eat popcorn ;-) I also like to have dinner parties but that seems to be a dying art these days. The thing about dinner parties is that you can experiment and make something new. I love Mediterranean style food, Italian, seafood, steak, pretty much anything well made. Not into fast food..fast food to me is pasta and pesto at home! I have two crazy sweet dogs and a cat. I run a pet care business but I also work for DHS as an independent consultant. I am hard of hearing so music that I don't need to understand words and is soothing is just the ticket. I do like upbeat music though when I am not working on my computer. Since I work from home it is nice to sit on my couch with my laptop with music pouring through the room. But don't ask me if it is good or bad Lol. Well, we could meet for lunch or brunch on a weekend and see how it progresses. During the week, how about a drink and if we like each other progress to dinner.
