I am a very honest. Whould like to start off slow and get to really know each other. They must have a good sense of humor and be family oriented. I am a animal lover with two dogs, a Maltese and a Bijon. I really enjoy all types of music. My favorite type of movies are suspense thrillers and true crime. I am very fond of the Tropics and enjoy nature. I am looking for someone to be my companion and my equal. I prefer for him to be intelligent. Someone who can have a intelligent conversation but yet still be well grounded..I am a petite 5'2 woman at 100lbs.If you have young children, that is not a problem, I love children. I raised two boys myself. Please no pot heads or alcoholics. My ideal first date will involve a good bit of talking to find out our common interest. It would be at a nice but quaint Japanese restaurant where we can take our time with our conversation. Possibly go to Putt Putt Golf during warm weather. Nothing like a game of Putt Putt to give a little competition going. During cold weather I am sure that we could find something else just as fun.

I have a very unique personality. I like to travel and see things I have never seen before. I am comfortable in the middle of nowhere and in the middle of a city....I am terrified of storms yet I love them...Things I like to do…learning, singing in the shower, singing while driving down the road... listening to music, talking with my hands, telling shooting stars form satellites, curling up and watching a good movie, hiking, lifting heavy objects, the beach at night, talking to myself, talking to the moon, talking to a stranger, never growing old, coffee at midnight, Denny’s at 3AM, making as many memories as I can, fishing and not catching a fish, watching ants build a hill…dancing as i take my daily walks....laughing...photography. That is just a few things that make me...me..I am a tomboy who likes to get all dressed up....I am shy to you get to know me.I am not looking for someone to change their dreams for me....and I am not going to change my dream for anyone...I just want someone to share the same dream...and I am childish enough to believe in the happily ever after...but sane enough to know that may never happen..but there is someone out there that will smile at my dreams....On a serious note.....I read the following quote somewhere and cant remember where..."I see life...I hear colors...I feel music...I enjoy it all." Looking for someone with an imagination.....Quote of the day...."A real lover is a man who can thrill you by kissing your forehead or smiling into your eyes or just staring into space";Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were. But without it we will go nowhere." Carl Sagan"Is it reckless? Maybe. But what do dreams know of boundaries?" --;A meaningful day for some… an epiphany for others....Imagine.""Life is not about waiting on the storm to pass....it is about learning to dance in the rain""Magic happens when you cooperate with reality *** avoiding it." Go exploring!!!!!

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I have been on this site off and on for the past couple of years and I don't think it's for me anymore. There are a few flirts here and there, an *** 'Hi', then it stops. It works both ways and I get that. I'm sure you have felt the same disappointment. It finally occurred to me that I am really very content and do not need to try to find someone using this venue. I have a great job - been here 32 years, and have made many life long friends. I have two great kids and an adorable grandson. At 55 years old I am starting to run! I am learning how to play the bagpipes, a goal that had been on my bucket list for far too long. I would like to learn to blow glass - I volunteer for SE MN small dog rescue and am planning for an event coming up in February. I am into eating organically grown fruits and vegetables and I eat very little processed foods. If it grows on a plant, eat it. If it was made in a plant, don't. WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING! I don't need to meet anyone! I have friends and family who love me - some even adore me! lol. Why do we think we need this BS? No one follows through or is interested in nourishing a new friendship so why do we bother? We continue to put ourselves in a position that often makes us feel expendable, useless and unworthy. Why do we do that? I know there are some genuinely nice guys out there who are not looking for the trophy girlfriend with big hooters. When I see a man ***years old that sets his criteria to ***, I cringe. Seriously? Women that age aren't interested in your kids, your paunch or your balding head and you better make sure Mr. Wiggly works non-stop. If if does, I applaud you! If not, what the hell are you thinking? Reality check please. Well, that's all for now! I'm going to mosey along and enjoy my wonderful life, a life that felt empty until I really started to count my blessings. I honestly wish you much success here. I thought I needed you but I really don't. Take care! A nice light meal is a good ice-breaker, maybe a beer or glass of wine. Meet for coffee and conversation.
