About Me

.I guess I have been gone too long! I am sharing an apartment with my daughter and grandson. I have 2 daughters ***& ***and 2 grandchildren ***& 9). My youngest daughter just moved out on her own so I am learning to deal with having an empty house!I like to take drives in the country, going to flea markets, fairs & carnivals, movies, bowling, or just stay at home and relax with a good movie. I like country music, oldies,& 80's & 90's too...Well I am looking for someone who doesn't lie or cheat, who works hard and is responsible. I am pretty easy going, I like to have fun but haven't had much fun in the past couple of years just been working all the time.Well, Thank you for taking the time to read my profile, I wish you luck in your search!Tracey I think that a first date should be something that is easy and not so nerve wracking...(like eating out) Maybe meet for coffee or drinks in a quiet place and just sit and talk.

Hmmmm..... Told I should describe myself better. Here goes: I love to cook, sew, walk, and be with friends. I currently work and go to school fulltime, so I don't have any dreams or thoughts about an overly serious relationship at this time. I am trying to finish school and land my dream job. I would love to work at the Center for the Intrepid if I am so blessed to do so. I love all kinds of music except rap (unless it's reallllllyyy old school) and heavy metal. Don't mind it for others, just not my thing. I love fast music that I can TRY to dance to. Key word= TRY. Tejano is my favorite, but also love 50 million other genres as well. Have friends from ALL walks of life and love them dearly. Have 2 right feet but love to dance anyway. Yeah, I said right-not a mistake. Why hate on lefties?? :) Love art, theatre, museums and festivals of all kinds. Love going to church and do so regularly. Would prefer someone who does also or at least doesn't mind that I do. Also a plus if you believe it's your duty to give back and pay it forward as much as you can.I HAVE HAD the greatest love, know how wonderful it is and can be. Would at some point really enjoy that feeling of having someone special in my life; but not desperate. I can and will wait for my souley-soul!!! Which is why I put just looking because I think when it's meant to happen, that person will be brought into my life and me his...I love, love our military! Am very patriotic, am a Vet myself and make no bones about my support of our folks. If that's an issue, I don't suggest ya stop. Any questions, please feel free to ask *** ASSUMING you know the kind of person I am. Bet you'd be surprised........(The photo in the white hat is about 3 yrs old. The green sweater one was taken 17 March ***and the other from July ***. The black t-shirt one was taken in July ***I am told I look exactly like my photos...that could be good or bad, depending on your sense of humor :) Haven't been on a GOOD first date in a very long time. Hard to describe, easy to remember but aware that dating has changed so much it's scary. Best bet would be have some coffee, or a drink and dinner and see how it goes. Then decide if you like each other enough to maybe see each other again and go from there...

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I have been on this site off and on for the past couple of years and I don't think it's for me anymore. There are a few flirts here and there, an *** 'Hi', then it stops. It works both ways and I get that. I'm sure you have felt the same disappointment. It finally occurred to me that I am really very content and do not need to try to find someone using this venue. I have a great job - been here 32 years, and have made many life long friends. I have two great kids and an adorable grandson. At 55 years old I am starting to run! I am learning how to play the bagpipes, a goal that had been on my bucket list for far too long. I would like to learn to blow glass - I volunteer for SE MN small dog rescue and am planning for an event coming up in February. I am into eating organically grown fruits and vegetables and I eat very little processed foods. If it grows on a plant, eat it. If it was made in a plant, don't. WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING! I don't need to meet anyone! I have friends and family who love me - some even adore me! lol. Why do we think we need this BS? No one follows through or is interested in nourishing a new friendship so why do we bother? We continue to put ourselves in a position that often makes us feel expendable, useless and unworthy. Why do we do that? I know there are some genuinely nice guys out there who are not looking for the trophy girlfriend with big hooters. When I see a man ***years old that sets his criteria to ***, I cringe. Seriously? Women that age aren't interested in your kids, your paunch or your balding head and you better make sure Mr. Wiggly works non-stop. If if does, I applaud you! If not, what the hell are you thinking? Reality check please. Well, that's all for now! I'm going to mosey along and enjoy my wonderful life, a life that felt empty until I really started to count my blessings. I honestly wish you much success here. I thought I needed you but I really don't. Take care! A nice light meal is a good ice-breaker, maybe a beer or glass of wine. Meet for coffee and conversation.
