Hello there, and welcome to my profile....I'm just a simple person. I try to keep my life as stress-free as possible. Being raised on a farm and a true country girl at heart, I understand the significance of a hard days work ...mentally and physically. I work every day for a wonderful doctor and also run a small subcontracting business. I love working and have no intention of retiring any time soon. As far as my past, who doesn't at 52? First date stuff has a tendency to make us all nervous, but we have nothing to loose and if anything, a new friendship to gain. Although I'm the Mother of three wonderful young men, my nest has a tendency to be empty quite often. They will always be my priority as it should be but my life does not revolve around their every moment. But if they need me...they know I'm there.The dating scene at this age is no easy task and really...I'm not sure meeting someone in this manner is the way to go but it's inevitable. Our social options are limited and this is what everyone seems to rely on. I prefer to date a man taller than I. This is not a slam, just a preference. We all know the attraction from the get-go is important. If it's mutual...we'll know. Wow where to start, it is really hard to meet people now days so here I am, so to start with I enjoy Country Music.. Yes that,s right I said Country lol it,s not that bad give it a shot. I like the simple things in life a couple beer, and enjoying a fire in my yard, oh I do have a fire pit so it,s not like I go starting fires all over the place. I would enjoy cooking a meal with someone, you did not think I was going to do all the work did you? maybe hit a flea market or a garage sales see what treasures we can find. Or just some down time watching a movie curled up on the couch, see very simple no stress. I have two kids still at home and in school, and I kinda like them so ya they will be with me for a bit, and they are usually about with their friends so I believe that it is time for me to make new friends as well. Having kids does not stop me from wanting to meet someone and share my life with them. I am proud of what I have accomplished as a single Mom and have worked very hard for what we have, which is not a lot but we are happy most of the time lol. I had been married for 20 yrs and we are somewhat new to this area,meeting people has not been as easy as it use to be,things have really changed A LOT !!!, So it would be great to meet someone. And if you can play a guitar I will sing for you, Now I did not say I was any good all I said is that I could, I enjoy singing, In the shower doing dishes lol. I like a man who does not take themselves to seriously and is not frightened to laugh. Maybe a little silly at times, but can be supportive if needed. I don,t need someone to take care of myself or my kids I do that quite well myself thank you. I know I am not a 10 but my kids think that I am special and say that I,m pretty and ya I think that,s kinda cool.
