I've been described as a nice person, with a sassy side, (a bit of sugar & spice); loving, attentive, easy to talk to, spiritual, kind, creative ~ a poet and artist.I'm not a wild woman and you won't find me hanging out in bars. Simple things are what I find most appealing; a casual meal in a quaint cafe, listening to a band play at a small venue, spending time with my family and friends, sharing a picnic blanket, a walk. I am an animal lover, and recently adopted a pretty little parakeet from a shelter. No grandchildren but I do have a few grand-animals! I love to learn new things ~ fencing, archery, cross country skiing, sang karaoke once (badly, but I did sing :) Somewhat cerebral, I enjoy writing poetry, a good read, and being absorbed in new creative projects.
