I am a single professional woman. I travel both for work and fun and am always looking for the next big adventure. My lifetsyle would be described as active and I would want the same in someone I dated. Love all sports and what I may lack in skill and ability I do try to make up for with enthusiasm. If you think any of this rings true with yourself give me a shout and let's see!

My children are all grown now & out of the house. I'm in a new situation where I'm just trying to learn how to live in a world I've never lived in. All my life there has been someone that depended on me & as of now that part is over. Not that my kids don't need me is some respects but I am no longer responsible for them. I'm looking to make a new group of friends to do social things with & perhaps in the process I will find someone that has a lot in common with me & would like to do some dating. I'm not in any rush for the dating part but I am looking for people to do social activities with. I enjoy playing pool, bowling, outdoor concerts, Jazz on the Green, dancing, I like neighborhood bars as well as clubs on occasion. Movies & live plays are always fun too. Really I enjoy just about anything if I'm with people I care about. If you want to know more please feel free to ask. First Dates are alway akward no matter how much you try to prepare. I think first dates should be planned for a short meeting & if you connect & things go well you can always make it into a longer date. Meeting for a drink or a cup of coffee would be a good first date. It can always continue on from there.

Ahhh....here goes the part I hate so much. I am just an ordinary women looking for happiness. I know it's out there somewhere. My life has thrown me some curves...but here I am, not willing to give up. I have a good life....but it would so much better to have someone to share it with. I will never turn down a glass of white wine. I don't tend to watch much TV but there are certain programs I don't like to miss. I am an early morning person and feel its the best part of the day. The first coffee of the day is always the best (although coffee anytime is good). I read a lot. I like to walk the bush anytime of year. I find time spent, one on one with Mother Nature very cleansing. I spend as much time as possible enjoying the cottage sunrises and sunsets. I do prefer being barefoot to wearing shoes. I can dress up but prefer to be casual and comfortable. I love to laugh and can be sarcastic. I listen to music in my car loud and I sing with it loud too (not very well either). I do take the saying "Dance like nobody's watching" to heart and I do. I am very very loyal to my family and friends. I like pretty much all genres of music, including a little bit of rap now and again (thanks to my kids). I like to learn one new thing every day (big or small). I do wear black rubber boots when walking the dog. The cat...well he's "the spawn of satan". And yes....here I am rambling.Never take a person for granted. Hold everyone close to your heart, because you might wake up one day and realize that you've lost a diamond while you were too busy collecting stones.Message me......if you like what you have read. I believe in messaging back. Oh so casual. First dates are so awkward to begin with...why make it worse. Perhaps a walk. A coffee or drink.....nothing very long. I figure...you'll know in the first 30 minutes.
