About Me

I'm considered attractive,in good shape,I've been on my own for quite some time, I like myself I'm not needy I do not need someone to make me happy would like someone to be happy with and share life with. I have alot of friends and a good social life. I don't run the bars per se, but love to meet up with friends and share a good bottle of wine or a margaritta or two. I love fine dinning, Jazz and Blues music old 80's. I guess basically you just have to meet someone and decide for your self if it clicks or not. I'm looking for my best friend,(like everyone on here). I enjoy cooking & grilling but would be nice to have someone cook for me for a change! Love a guy with a sense of humour, laughing together is a great feeling.Must love animals!!! Describing a first date for someone you don't even know yet is not easy. Depends on how our first conversations go we could have appetizers and drink's, sit outside on a patio and listen to music at a restaurant and talk. What I would not do is go to a movie so we can sit in silence and wonder what the other is thinking. If we had a second date I love to grill on my patio and light candles as it grows dark and just hang out and enjoy our selfs.

Woman. 51 years old. Zodiac sign: Aries.

Looking for: man. In age: 48-58

I am a kind, caring, considerate and compassionate female. I enjoy a variety of interests and activities. The most important interest in my life is family. I firmly believe in a one-on-one relationship and seek the same. I date very rarely as I find the dating scene overall discouraging in this regard. I am an independent person and do not feel the "NEED" of a relationship, but I do hope to find the "RIGHT" relationship at some point. By the way......guess I am a bit "old-fashioned" and shy, so if you would like to talk, *** Upon browsing profiles I ran across this on a MAN'S profile. I think this speaks for itself!Women over 40 By Andy RooneyAs I grow in age, I value women over 40 most of all. Here are just a few reasons why: A woman over 40 will never wake you in the middle of the night and ask, 'What are you thinking?' She doesn't care what you think. If a woman over 40 doesn't want to watch the game, she doesn't sit around whining about it. She does something she wants to do, and it's usually more interesting. Women over 40 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you if they think they can get away with it. Older women are generous with praise, often undeserved. They know what it's like to be unappreciated.. Women get psychic as they age. You never have to confess your sins to a woman over 40. Once you get past a wrinkle or two, a woman over 40 is far sexier than her younger counterpart.. Older women are forthright and honest. They'll tell you right off if you are a jerk, if you are acting like one. You don't ever have to wonder where you stand with her. Yes, we praise women over 40 for a multitude of reasons. Unfortunately, it's not reciprocal. For every stunning, smart, well-coiffed, hot woman over 40, there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year old waitress. Ladies, I apologize. For all those men who say, 'Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free? Here's an update for you. Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage. Why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire pig just to get some sausage!"

Laid back individual but always make sure that business and other important matters are taken care of. I\'m looking for a good person to get to know. Someone who has a good heart is affectionate and not looking to waste my time.

Looking for: man. In age: 49-59

%(h , into fancy cars and shiny objects. Have a whole separate room just for my shoes. Needs my man to be always accessible and on call 24 hours a day to cater to my every whim. Lazy as the day is long and spends all of YOUR money to get my hair and nails done. Don't even THINK of expecting me to pick up a check anywhere!Oh and if your best friend is better looking and richer than you, watch out!So......if you're still reading, maybe you get that I have a bit of a sarcastic sense of humor? Read on for the "real" me.I'm very laid back and easy going most of the time, definitely NOT a party girl! Sometimes shy, especially when first meeting someone, but have also been told that I have the tenacity of a Pit Bull when it comes to getting something done. Still a bit of a tomboy, so if you like a gal who owns her own power tools and isn't afraid to use them you're looking in the right place :). I love the "hey, I MADE that, or hey I fixed that" feeling!Definitely a jeans & T-shirt kind of gal but can clean up okay when the occasion arises.I hate the saying "it is what it is", but it really IS was what it is, isn't it? ;DI try to have a Zen outlook on life. Haven't perfected that yet, but I'm still evolving!Looking for someone who values honesty above all as much as I do. I've got my big-girl panties on, so can handle ANY raw truth. Give me that respect and you have my respect. It's that simple.A true sense of humor is a must, because if you can't laugh at life what's the point?Okay, I'll admit I got lazy at this point and did the old cut-and-paste.my job:I'm a Human Decorator. If you can decipher that, you know what it is that I do ;)my religion:I believe in reincarnation, that we get to keep coming back until we get it right. Think I have quite a few go-rounds ahead of me ;)favorite things:Like to sample all types of music but find as I'm getting older that I prefer clear voices, acoustic guitars and strings.last read:Last read was "The Dome" by Steven King (The Stand was my favorite). Updating that statement..currently re-reading Stranger In A Strange Land. There's a great quote about sex and love in it that I can't wait to find again.Found it........"Male-femaleness is the greatest gift we have. The joining of bodies with merging of souls in shared ecstasy, giving, receiving, delighting in each other.;(if you have NO idea what he's talking about, pass right on by please ; And I read medical texts for fun (the gotta know how things work thing again).my pets:Love any and all animals. Currently have two Jack Russells, so am not afraid of a challenge LOLOkay..now the bad stuff....Sorry about the bad pics, but have very few of myself that don't make me look deathly pale or like I have a huge nose (both true..okay maybe my nose isn't huge but it's a little odd. Guess that's what you get when you mix Polish & There I said it. I know it's SO not PC these days, but I consider it my SSRI (that's my daily rationalization and I'm sticking to it!) . Want to see the woman in the first paragraph? Just TRY to get me to quit. Been there, done that, and it ain't pretty. So have to say that's probably my one big deal breaker here. If you don't smoke we probably won't get along well.An update to the above paragraph. Giving e-cigs a shot, and doing fairly well with them. My smokestack is down to a quarter of it's original output. There may be hope for me yet!! :POkay, if you read this far you are one patient guy or just needed a little laugh. Either way, if you're interested, drop me a line here, but be forewarned that I actually have a life and don't check here everyday. Oh and since I really do like the "techie" stuff, expect a few *** and forth at first. Bonus points for you if you can actually spell (or at least know how to use a spell checker)!Peace! Hmm...shower, brush my teeth, put on some makeup, heck if you look promising I might even shave my armpits....Oh, blond moment there..I think they meant what would you want to DO on a first date, not FOR a first date. Silly me ;)Somewhere fairly quiet (I'm almost deaf in one ear from my days at L'Amours taking pictures of the bands..seriously) where we could talk for a while would be nice. I don't drink (I come by this ditziness naturally)so something low pressure like coffee might be nice. I'd appreciate giving us both the option of getting the heck out of there quickly and gracefully if it comes to that :D
