UPDATE II: I have men say, "You don't initiate contact with me!" I haven't had much luck with that. I was raised - and, I guess it just works best for me - that the man make the initial moves. I understand that goes both ways, but I'm a Southern girl...in a cyber-dating world! You be the man - I'll be the woman!;My hypocrisy goes only so far..." so I won't tell you the things you read on other profiles. I work hard - because that is what I do! I play hard - because that is what I do! I just do not know how to be apathetic. I choose to stay busy - for now. I went skydiving! It was the most incredible experience ever! Want to go back with me? I dance in the rain and I play in the snow (when we get some.) That's just who I am.... I just checked off the top entry on my bucket list - I graduated from SFASU in Aug. ***! My sons are grown and on their own (for the most part!***my baby is in college! They have had my undivided attention for the last 13 years. I would like to for it to be "our time" now! For you guys who "love to travel" but restrict your search to a 10 mile paramater of where you live, my schedule is flexible and I am spontaneously mobile. I live outloud - in fast forward - hell yeah - turn it up! I am unencumbered by the bonds suffered by others which restricts them to a mundane life. See, I can be a girly girl - OR - I can put on leathers and climb on the back of that Harley! Let's just say that life with me is never dull ....sometimes quiet, sometimes crazy, but always interesting! Meet for drinks. If there is no chemistry, then we finish our drinks and no harm, no foul! However, if all goes well, perhaps continue with a nice meal.

My children are all grown now & out of the house. I'm in a new situation where I'm just trying to learn how to live in a world I've never lived in. All my life there has been someone that depended on me & as of now that part is over. Not that my kids don't need me is some respects but I am no longer responsible for them. I'm looking to make a new group of friends to do social things with & perhaps in the process I will find someone that has a lot in common with me & would like to do some dating. I'm not in any rush for the dating part but I am looking for people to do social activities with. I enjoy playing pool, bowling, outdoor concerts, Jazz on the Green, dancing, I like neighborhood bars as well as clubs on occasion. Movies & live plays are always fun too. I think first dates should be planned for a short meeting & if you connect & things go well you can always make it into a longer date. Meeting for a drink or a cup of coffee would be a good first date. It can always continue on from there.
