I am a child at heart. I love animals, listening to live music, yoga, and interesting people. I live a colorful diversified life. I like to understand people, and where they are coming from. My choices are not traditional, somewhat unusual, but they do work for me. I have quite a few long term friendships that mean a lot.I asked my friends to describe me for my profile. They all said that I was funny, quirky, playful, fiery, sexy, loyal, kind, and extremely honest.I do believe in giving back. I often will ask someone who is having a difficult time if they need help. Suffering affects me. I have to block out peoples pain since I can absorb it. However giving back takes you out of yourself, which I think is good for one's soulMy days are filled with trying to reinvent my two businesses. I try to take yoga almost every day when possible. I get together with friends, and listen to live music, jazz, blues at least once a week. Take my dog to the park often. I think that I laugh more often then most people. The first things people usually notice about me I'm spunky, attractive, and can seem very confident. I am open, and find I often have conversations with strangers. It helps that I have a dog, but I enjoy the contact of new people. I have a an open smile. . I spend a lot of time thinking about Friendships, my dog, my new business, the good parts of the past, the present, and the immediate future. I am not a long term planner. Should sex always be with a man I love, or should I find a more casual partner until I fall in love? In either case good sex is never casual. It requires chemistry, and a real connection to the person that you are with. All people fit into ones life differently, and while it may not be ultimately what you are looking for if it is a positive experience then that is okay for me.     Isn't it amazing to think that we can have everything we need and still feel as though something is missing? This woman has lived a very full life, has a challenging job, a house that I moved into three years ago and am still trying to make a home (it's so different without other people here), and two awesome dogs that are always happy to see me. I am an artist at heart, and my studio is the center of my home (though not my full time profession...I'm in property management). An artist's home is her masterpiece, and I have spent a lot of time refurbishing, decorating and working in the yard. Throughout my life I've explored a wide range of activities. I used to do a lot of camping, enjoy boating, and have recently taken Tango lessons. Music has always been a part of my life (piano lessons from an early age) and I'm still trying to teach myself to play the guitar. I bought myself a bicycle over the summer to ride through the local bike trails and parks (would be nice to have someone to ride with). Keeping myself in shape is important to me.For the man who is reading this, I appreciate intelligence, compassion, a healthy sense of humor and intuition. Having been single for five years now, I have met a lot of guys, dated a few of them, remained friends with a couple of them, and even ran from a few! Experiencing new activities can be fun, and meeting new people can be exciting... but I know where I'm most comfortable... in the arms of someone I trust. On a typical week night I'm curled up on the sofa next to the fireplace, or working on a painting, or painting a room! On a typical weekend night, I could be out listening to Country Music, or Jazz, or Classic Rock, or at home playing classical. I've reached most of the goals that I've set for myself... but I haven't had the relationship that I've always wanted... maybe being on this site will change that. Maybe not. Let's find out! The first "date" is really just an introduction. It's the second date (if there is one) that should be mutually decided.
