I enjoy yoga, walking, running and weight lifting. I am an honest, positive, intelligent, humorous and kind woman. I believe things happen for a reason and I also believe there are many wonderful things to come in my future. I am looking for a partner who has a similar outlook on life. I have three wonderful children, a daughter and two sons. They are by far the best part of my life. If I find a partner who has children, I would be happy to love and enjoy them as I have my own. I am a nature lover so I enjoy the outdoors, whether it’s the beach or the mountains or sitting in my own backyard. Whenever I can, I’ll take my cup of morning tea or an evening glass of wine and sit outside, soaking it all in. I am most happy when the sun is shining, but I can also be found outside relaxing or walking on cloudy, grey days. Being one with nature keeps me relaxed and grounded. My favorite time at the beach is late afternoon into early evening when the sun sets and the sky turns to muted colors of blue, purple, pink and gold. I love my fishing trips at the shore or the lakes with my sons. I am a true optimist; very much a glass half full person. And that’s how I feel about my life right now. I’ve had a great life so far, and I expect good things, including finding my soulmate, in the future. Regrets..…I can’t think of any. I choose to think of things in the past that didn’t go well as learning opportunities, not misfortunes or regrets.I love music and I enjoy dancing. I will listen to a variety of genres, although most of the time my radio is tuned to the top 40, a preference I learned from my daughter. Top 40 is totally off limits though if either of my sons are in the car..…then it’s only classic rock or county.So what am I looking for in a partner? I like a man who is confident, positive, polite, funny and who takes the lead. I am very passionate and loving. I must confess that I am a true romantic and nothing excites me more than a great, passionate kiss. Living a healthy lifestyle is important to me. I enjoy cooking meals together or going to a restaurant. I like to exercise a couple times a week as part of my routine.     It's a beautiful day and time to enjoy some simple pleasures, smile and laugh a little. A quiet morning cup of coffee, enjoying the view as the mist rises off the water... The water is clear, cool and so tempting to just dip a few toes or get totally soaked - blue jeans and all! In my world, the bugs don't bite and the fish do (not my toes - just the fishing bait/lure).A paint brush in my hand...something about it feels right. A 2.5" angled brush will make a fresh newly painted wall...a flat, filbert, round or detail brush will help make a work of art. I have done a few I'm proud of like pet portraits of my children's dogs...and the sail boat I put on this site. I have a few in-progress paintings on my easels now and try to paint in the evenings. Thus, I appreciate art and art exhibits.I've been in my house over 15 months now, it was a forclosure and needed work - I needed a project, so it was a VERY good match! I'm pretty handy around the house - electrical, plumbing, drywall, tile (floors and countertops) etc... Why pay for something I can do myself! The kitchen was gutted down to the studs and at this point is done except for wood trim and curtains.Regardless of what I can do, I am a lady and I appreciate a thoughtful man who smiles easily, opens doors and is willing to at least slow dance. If you can country line dance and do a two-step that would be awesome! I'm out of practice and have done very little two-stepping. :) Hopefully you like spending time outside...walking/hiking in the woods, photography, camping, boating and such. My life does not revolve around sports, I would rather be doing than watching... If I am watching TV, there will probably be knitting in my lap or something else.I am debt free, except for my house, and have a good job. I am not wealty, just comfortable... If I was after money, I would have kept the retired one with two million in the bank (after his divorce) or the one making over $100,***a year.Precious (fish bait) and (high) Jack are my little dogs...6 and 3 pounds repectively. They own two parakeets.What else...I'm not sure quite what to say...so you can ask me if you want to know. I might even tell you. ;)If you don't have a picture, or your NOT smiling in some of your pictures - chances are good I won't reply. I'm looking for the right 'smile'! A quite evening to talk...maybe a walk...to get to know each other and see if there may be a mutual spark.
