I have had numerous challenges in my life so I am strong. You either rise to the occasion or you are conquered. My oldest child has multiple disabilities and has had numerous surgeries over the years. I will always be responsible for his well being although he has staff around 24 hours a day who love and care for him. He is also the healthiest, most physically fit disabled guy I know and alot of fun with a good sense of humor. Except the winters since I can’t stand to be cold and was hoping to find a life partner to identify the winter location!I like to be active and want to continue to have an active life throughout the rest of my life. I think it improves mental attitude as well as reduces illness and physical pain. And it just feels better to be physically fit. I work out about ***times a week, bikram yoga, jogging, lunges, squats, kayaking and hiking when seasonally appropriate, etc. I would like someone who enjoys being active as well. My children are young adults and I am very close to them but now it is my time to travel and enjoy life with a life partner. Life is an adventure that is meant to be lived.I enjoy the geographic beauty of the DC metropolitan area but love to travel for pleasure. I would really like to travel overseas with that right person. There are so many places that I haven't been yet. Even for a long weekend. I I travel a good amount for work but will find time to build a relationship with that right person. I am looking for a life partner who is physically fit, educated, a man whose word is their bond. Maybe you are or were in the military, maybe you are an executive, fireman,really any profession, it is more about your character than what you do. Your character, how you treat me and others is what I value. You are protective of the people you care about without being controlling. You are sufficiently confident in your own abilities that you are not threatened by my success. Integrity is a critical characteristic for me in a partner, it will be in your actions as well as your words. This extends to looking like your pictures. It makes it so much easier when we meet! ( I look like my pics.) I want someone I share a strong mutual chemistry with, I am a passionate person and I think that is a critical component of any successful relationship. I want someone to share the rest of my life with me. I think meeting for coffee or something short is nice for a first meeting to get to meet and know someone.

Hello: Let me tell you a little bit about me:I'm sure that we are all on this site for the same reason. And can write just about anything on our profiles. It's making the time and getting to know the total person I'm not a game player or into games, take the time and make the effort to know about me: I'm a average built easy going and fun person who likes to get out and do things rather than regret it later. I have a sense of humor and can even laugh at myself too. And a time to also know when to be serious.For a picture on this site to be current you'd have to update it everyday. I haven't changed much and why have a picture of myself at 26 and two of the present on beach and with friend playing guitar.What is a turn off is someone that doesn't know what he wants and goes from one woman to the next. It's making the effort of getting to know someone, and not by endless ***'s live not memorex LOL, like before cyber.I walk for fitness and get out as often into the fresh air . And like to get out and do things rather say later wish I had. I;m a honest person and would expect nothing less from you. I have about twenty pounds to take off and have meat on the bones. But making serious effort to take it back off. I had a problem with my ankle and heel then sciatic nerve prevented me from getting out walking for fitness. And I'm out daily for my walks.I'm a huge music lover and it varies. I like rock, some jazz and country, and no rap. And I do love live music. And know alot of really good bands.I have alot of interests and also be great to share in yours too.I had a drink in my hand my friend and I took a ride to Martells. We had craved the beach and boardwalk in April. I don't hang out in bars. But I do have talented married friends who are in bands. And they enjoy music as much as I appreciate their talent by supporting and seeing them play out. There's nothing like hearing live music.My friends are important, and my best friend I know her since I was five years old. And have a very large circle of friends aquaintances who are near and dear. We left early and brought our bicycles. We went on the beach, walked the boardwalk and browsed the stores. Then drove to the point to see the sunset. Which the point sunset is always gorgeous. And on the way home we could see the fireworks from various towns in the distance. They were really great to see without stopping. That was a totally fun day.
