I have been married for most of my adult life, now divorced for several years. I have gotten over the bitterness and self pity, and I have come to realize that I don't actually HAVE to rely on someone else in my life to make it complete. I love the outdoors, hiking, fishing, swimming, boating, etc. I'd rather be on the water than just about anything else in the world. I always have a book going, but I usually only read at bed time. I've worked in the medical support field most of my life, and that's what I most enjoy, career wise.
