I have been married for most of my adult life, now divorced for several years. I have gotten over the bitterness and self pity, and I have come to realize that I don't actually HAVE to rely on someone else in my life to make it complete. But on the other hand, if my soul mate IS out there, I sure would love to find him!I would much rather be half of a great partnership through this life because I really do have a lot of love to give!*SERIOUSLY*I am looking for a man that is well rounded, mature, and mentally and financially stable. He is the type that knows what he wants and goes after it. He is passionate about everything that he does, and he does it well. He makes me smile every time I think of him, and he makes me shiver every time he comes near. He will understand what I want and need before I say a word. He's out there, and I'm ready. I want a grown man, so wimps need not apply.BACK IN THE DAY... I seldom had a problem finding a date and occasionally was told that I was "pretty dang hot" (by 15 year old boys and dirty old men!) though not in those exact words! (I think the word was "; back then!!!) But THAT tells you how long it's been since I was looking for a date!! Anyway, a lot of water has passed over THIS bridge, but I like to think I have held up fairly well... I love the outdoors, hiking, fishing, swimming, boating, etc. I'd rather be on the water than just about anything else in the world. I don't really care what I do as long as I'm sharing that time with someone special. People say that I'm a pretty smart gal, but who knows? Maybe I hang out with dumb people... just kidding! I always have a book going, but I usually only read at bed time. I've worked in the medical support field most of my life, and that's what I most enjoy, career wise.
