I have been married for most of my adult life, now divorced for several years. I have gotten over the bitterness and self pity, and I have come to realize that I don't actually HAVE to rely on someone else in my life to make it complete. But on the other hand, if my soul mate IS out there, I sure would love to find him!I would much rather be half of a great partnership through this life because I really do have a lot of love to give!*SERIOUSLY*I am looking for a man that is well rounded, mature, and mentally and financially stable. He is the type that knows what he wants and goes after it. He is passionate about everything that he does, and he does it well. He makes me smile every time I think of him, and he makes me shiver every time he comes near. He will understand what I want and need before I say a word. He's out there, and I'm ready. I want a grown man, so wimps need not apply.BACK IN THE DAY... I seldom had a problem finding a date and occasionally was told that I was "pretty dang hot" (by 15 year old boys and dirty old men!) though not in those exact words! (I think the word was "; back then!!!) But THAT tells you how long it's been since I was looking for a date!! Anyway, a lot of water has passed over THIS bridge, but I like to think I have held up fairly well... I love the outdoors, hiking, fishing, swimming, boating, etc. I'd rather be on the water than just about anything else in the world. I don't really care what I do as long as I'm sharing that time with someone special. People say that I'm a pretty smart gal, but who knows? Maybe I hang out with dumb people... just kidding! I always have a book going, but I usually only read at bed time. I've worked in the medical support field most of my life, and that's what I most enjoy, career wise. You'll have to ask me about anything else you want to know... I'll probably tell you!""The spotlight's hittin' somethin' thats been known to change the weather..."     Well, I have to give a little update...... Best move I could have ever made!!!!It's been an interesting journey being on this website. You get to meet lots of different people. I would like to meet someone who has good manners... you know holds the door, takes the lead in crowded areas, etc. I also like a man who is not afraid to show affection and be romantic. Don't worry, I can handle the guy stuff too.! Someone who is funny and likes to laugh. Someone who can be spontaneous on occasion.I really enjoy doing a variety of things, after all variety is the spice of life. I do like to travel, see new things and new places. I like being outdoors, going for long walks. Could be a stroll or I could be on a mission with exercise in mind!! I'm just getting back into bowling after not doing it for a very long time, but I am enjoying it. I like to read and listen to music. I love outdoor concerts at local areas. I like most types of music, except not really into rap or hip hop!!! I love watching movies.... could be at home or the theater! I like going to wine tasting and I am determined to make it to some this year. I enjou going to art galleries and festivals. And OMG...... I can't forget the beach. CA beaches just don't compare!!! There are so many other things that I like to do and perhaps try something new. But no fun alone!I think everyone has special and unique qualities.... that's why we are all different. I enjoy making people happy. Even if it is something little that makes them smile. I have quite a sense of humor!!! So be ready! I am an honest person, don't tell lies.... always better to tell the truth.I work in the medical field, currently at a large hospital. Some day I plan on working from home. As technology evolves and all Medical Facilities go electronic I will be able to do so. I usually respond back to all my e-mails, so if I did not respond back to one of yours please check your criteria....... perhaps you have it set that it will not let me respond back!!! However, I don't respond if you just press the button that says "I want to meet you". You must actually write a message, that way I know you are truly interested!!!!!This really isn't that hard....... you send me a message, I send a message back, you send me a message either with your phone number or ask for mine, we talk on the phone and set a place to meet, then go from there. Not that difficult!!! I think a first date should be very simple and uncomplicated. If you like me and I like you, well then we could talk about a second date!!

    Hello, I enjoy the outdoors, spending time with family and friends and puttering about!I love good stimulating conversation, as well as having good laughs and talking nonsense at times.
