I'm starting a new life chapter, care to be included? I've had enough of NYC for now. A great place to visit; however, commuting daily, I'm done. It took a while;This is the beginning of " simplicity". Someone who can share ideas/suggestions in a plan. I'm diversified with my interests. I love being on the water (kayaking, boating: sail or power)! I'm a great first mate (in a boat or car). I'm into bicycling, cooking, diverse music, exercise, football, hiking, motorcycle companion, travel, aka ... adventure, I'm not a couch potatoe. I do enjoy movies ... Netflix series ... finished Breaking Bad in 3 wks, I loved that series, I was addicted. I'm waiting for the new series to be added to Netflix that's on HBO right now.Chemistry connects for sure if you have paternal *** soul regardless if you are a parent or not. I am not a parent. Suffocation isn't asked, just intermittent reminder loving pulses. I enjoy being healthy! I'm more outdoors than inside exerciser, e.g. power walks with yoga, hiking, x-country skiing and snowshoeing. It's great to come inside to a delicious home cooked meal via crock pot or what I planned and relax over an entertaining movie or music with a refreshing glass of wine.I'm into well groomed, professional (white or blue collar), soulful, fun, creative and athletic (no super jock, love handles are cool!). I'm 53 and would love to find my soul mate sooner rather than later as we enter retirement! I think having 'independent / alone' time is healthy too. A perfect home would be one level, two wings with each wing being 'our individual space' and center / common area (kitchen, dining, living room). Of course sleep together (hoping snoring isn't an issue ... lol). One level as we are aging, forgo steps. If you own a motorcycle, this is cool, respectively!     here I am again... Reluctant Participant..Can't go any further until I add something here. There's always a catch...I supposed you could call me a reluctant participant. I don't know anyone who is comfortable having to come up with a 'personality resume'. I'm just checking things out***updateI know at this age I am supposed to know who I am, and what I want out of life. Well, surprise ... I know who I was and that I was good at it - House is still standing, I have 2 amazing successful daughters, a son who is still working out his kinks, all grown and moved into their own lives. Now its time to discover who the empty nester me is. I am a social person, spent many years as an advocate for the Learning Disabled and special education, am somewhat active in my community politically - have no tolerance for the BS so it limits my involvement. I work in the town I live in which is a blessing in itself I love learning new things about myself - being exposed to what is outside my box - discovering me.. I have been sailing the past few years, love it!! Love being on the back of a Harley, its the sound not the vibration...Wish I was more creative - can't draw a stick figure but I love and appreciate great art - from homegrown to museums, theater, music... I love being in NYC or PHILLY or DC - just loathe getting there lol so it seems when I'm 'doing' its about the journey, when I'm appreciating its about the destination.I love to dance - usually around the house as going to bars/clubs got old - or was it me that got old?? That crowd gets younger and younger every time I venture out lolA lot of the profiles I've read have comments about 'normal women' or lack there of. Makes me wonder what normal is? I am independent, don't want or need anyone to 'take care of me' - that seems to intimidate many so if you're looking to rescue someone I'm not your girl.
