About Me

My main interests are anything sporty, socialising, art (i,ve downloaded a few of my pictures, but most i give to friends or sell occasionally), film (especially English Gangster), music (especially Northern Soul and Indie) and travel.My goals are to be happy, hopefully with the right partner, to be sucessful business wise, and not to take life to seriously (its to short).I have a lot of friends, some close friends (my definition of a close friend being someone who would put themselves out for you without expecting anything in return, think about how many you have?).What makes me unique, is my never ending optimism, and my freedom of spirit.My taste in music is wide, varied and changes as i get older, i discover, rediscover and are educated by friends and the media. My background is in Northern Soul which for the none initiated is a genre and scene with underground Soul music from the 50's-80's as its core, however i appreciate most forms of music, from rock to pop, my current favoutites being The Killers, Jamirouquai, Stone Roses, Snow Patrol and Oasis. My ideal first date would be meet for a drink, somewhere you can talk without having to shout at each other to be heard, then maybe a nice meal (my favourite foods are Indian, Chinese/Japanese and last but by no means least the ever present and culinary enlightening dish that is the parmo.
