Ok, so about me... Usually reserved, quiet, usually a person of few words. Then once I get to know you, the guy with the sense of humor starts to come out. I might not be the one doing all the talking at a dinner party, but when I do, expect to be entertained! I'm a very independent person and like a bit of that in the person I'm with. I very much am attracted to self confidence and intelligence. I'm not in any rush to get involved with anyone just for the sake of dating, but I keep hoping my perfect match is out there someplace. I have the bar set pretty high on who that perfect match is, but I know that person is out there.I have a great career I really enjoy in information technology. I've designed computer systems for everything from small one doctor offices to Fortune ***companies so I have my serious and responsible side, but I try not to bring that home with me. I love being on or near the water too, sailing or a walk on the beach are my favorites. Very much into cars, I restore cars for fun and also do some racing on the weekends. Hopping in the car for a weekend road trip goes along with that. I can be just as at home relaxing or completely spur of the moment to go do something. Music's something that I very much enjoy. I love having something playing when I'm working around the house or in the car. I really like rock from the 80's, current rock and a mix of other things, but not a fan of country really. I don't watch a ton of TV (admitted DIY channel junkie though), but do enjoy a good movie. Preference is for the typical guy movies, but I appreciate all the good ones. I'm not a fitness nut, but manage to keep in decent shape. My ideal match would also be someone like minded. I love going for walks, swimming or just working in the yard. I love food and to cook so gotta do something to keep the pounds off!Now for the fine print... Looking for someone local only. (like ***minutes away or so at the most).
