Hello and thanks for taking the time to read my profile. I'm a licensed therapist specializing in adult and child therapy. Much of my work is with military families.Making a difference in the community and being of service to families impacted by war is really fulfilling. I have lived and interesting and textured life. In the past, I have performed professionally as a magician, traveled extensively and saw a lot of the world - (no sequins, animals or large boxes involved - I carried my act in a shoulder bag). I am a formally trained chef (out of respect for Chefs everywhere, I use this term generically and with humility) and love all kinds of good food. So, I hear I'm in pretty good shape for a guy "my age."- distance running is over due to injury but still train regularly.Love all outdoor activities, music, theater, or relaxing at home - I don't always have to be on the move or "doing something" to be at ease or comfortable and appreciate someone who can relax and enjoy the sunset or a drive in the mountains as much as activity in large groups. At first, I may appear quiet and reserved but I see it as a form of economy.I don't have to be the center of attention but can become the life of the party without pushing or demanding it. I am fine with allowing others to take that role.I value trust and loyalty, am patient and giving, probably to a fault and support and encourage the dreams of others - but am not a fool. I mean, I will give anyone the coat off of my back, have done it many times in life and will again - but not if a loved one or I need it more. The nice stuff is fine, but the trailer and river were the best. So, I guess you could say I am adaptable and resilient.Chasing after the next shiny thing is not my style- the bright, shinny. sparkling thing in front of me can be enough.Sorry to see Peter Falk die, he was great. All Monty Python =My intellectual interests include, study of and "work" on the 4th Way, read Gurgjieff, Ouspensky, et. Waking up is a commitment and something of a ****, isn't it? .study of sociology, world history, comparative religions and science.I also love graphic arts and am admittedly a computer geek.Well, that's enough -Hope to hear from you or back from you if I have written. Meet somewhere and talk, walk, sit, be quiet, laugh, go into a store, pick up some food, walk to a park and prepare something to eat Ask the homeless to cook for us and give them something to eat for their work.Lock ourselves in a room and brainstorm on a "million dollar idea" and not leave until we have a solid concept.Pack a single bag, tell no one we are leaving, pick a random spot on the map, get on a Greyhound Bus and go.Go to cemetery and do EVP recordingsOr, just meet at mutually agreeable spot, talk for while and hope we see each other again.
