About Me

rog Definition: One who is playfully mischievous; a scamp. Dangerous and lovable. Interesting variation from the norm: Different but familiar. Indeterminable and Intriguing. I'm pretty laid back, even keeled, have a good sense of humor, and I exist with no ex-drama. I've been around long enough to know... and to know better. I love to laugh and to make someone smile.There isn't an agenda for me as far as developing a relationship. However, I enjoy being with one person rather than playing the field. If something deeper develops with that person, then all the better. I am loving and affectionate, gentle and understanding. We both know the chemistry has to be right.I have a boy and a girl in elementary school and I love them dearly. I enjoy spending time with my kids and coaching my son's baseball team. We have also been racing Quarter Midget cars. My daughter loves playing softball and the piano. I love my time with them and their dogs, the schnauzer and the schnoodle. I have them every other weekend.I'm a bigger guy -- broad shoulders and am truly "big boned". I'm sort of heavyset. I'm definitely not a skinny weenie little guy, so if that's what you like, you'll have to find it elsewhere. I'm actually quite athletic and muscular (once you get past a little padding) and I've been told my best features are my legs and my boyish face.I usually like simple things like TV or reading to relax most evenings, but I'm not a TV or sports junkie. I like movies and comedy (laughter is the best medicine!) and I do love motor-sports (my one sports weakness). I loved racing cars when I had the chance to do it a few years back. I still love to ride motorcycles, (Yeah... I've got a Harley- Good times for me are pretty simple and usually quiet... a book, MUSIC, sudoku, a DVD or to just hang out and grill in the gazebo. Not big on the social scene, but I like to go out for dinner, concerts, parks, etc... and try new things or be introduced to the fun things other people do. I don't have a lot of hobbies and I don't have an inner circle of "the Guys" that I run off to and have fun with. I'm pretty much a rogue... gentleman.My career in sales and marketing gives me enough interaction with people, so I like to wind down with self-time or time spent with one other. So... have I been straight forward enough? Are we considering the same things at this time in our lives? I'm not closed minded - rather I'm open to the opportunities of the day. If you are where I am and can understand what I'm saying... Perhaps we can talk and find some common ground... maybe more... Anything simple, fun and informal...

    Alright, what can I say that sounds interesting, makes my profile stand out, or just sparks a little interest from those that are looking for someone? Hum..... no pressure here, huh? How can you truly tell someone what you are all about in a paragraph or two? For one, It is had to be believable. It would be easy to make up a bunch of stuff , make yourself sound like you have a fantastic life, and that you are the best person in the world for someone to take a chance on. But, if we were all that, then why are we on this website? This on-line things is not a traditional way to meet people. The rules of dating are certainly different today than they last time I dated. And that was to long ago to remember. However, I am dedicated to my kids and my profession. So, where do you turn? I don't have the time to patronize the bar scene. Don't get me wrong, I like to get out on occasion. But, honestly, I don't have the stamina or the desire that i used to have. So, here I am. Listen, no one is perfect and I certainly am not, nor will I ever claim to be. I am just a good guy that wants to enjoy life again. Life has so much to offer and I am ready to get back in the game. Experience as much as I can, while I can. For those that know me, they understand that I always try to find the good in any situation. It is hard for me to say "no" and I want to make sure that people feel good about themselves. Life is too short to be unhappy or lonely. I want to surround myself with good, decent people that are of high character, intelligent and love to laugh..... A lot! I do and the majority of the time it is at my own expense. But, hey I am ok with that. What am I looking for? Great question, as I dont know yet. Looks are important, but they are fleeting. It is the essence, character and fortitude of someone's spirit that is most important. Everyone is different and unique in their own way. You will find that I am not very opinionated as I see multiple perspectives. Just be yourself and not try to be someone that you are not. Be open and honest as those qualitites are a must for me. I would like to spend time with someone willing to open up and take a chance. Let their guard down and create some memories. They must be passionate and have no regrets at the end of the day. Don't worry about the past or present. Just live in the moment. I will leave you with ten***things about me that you may find interesting or just useless. But, here were go.....1) I know the difference between there, their and they're. 2) I don' touch handrails outside of public restrooms....think about it. 3) The word "moist" doesn't weird me out. 4) I know all the words to Jay-Z's "I Just Want to Love You". 5) I smell pretty good. KInda citruisy or pina coladadee. 6) I can give hugs with the appropriate amount of pressure and for the right length of time. 7) I burp minimally. 8) Special skill: Thyping. I mean, typing. 9) I can lurk for hours without a break. And ***I am not very good at strip poker...... Not really, I just thought it sounded funny. So, in saying all that, I hope I didn' sound like a complete boob.
