About Me

I've been here for almost a year now and have been less than impressed. I have made several very nice friends and had a few possibilities but no REAL connections. I'm a country boy at heart. I'm father to two great boys one is 24 and the other is 15. I like to go out and dance a few times a month. I like to fish, hunt, camp and go boating. I love to cook, I like to keep a tidy home and keep the yard groomed. Some of my most relaxed moments are rainy days watching movies at home. I hope to find a great lady that can be my friend, a worthy opponent to my humor sparring sessions, and the focus of my caring and attention. I enjoy classic rock, alternative rock, classic country and of course the current country music. One thing I have learned is that a kiss is definitely the first indicator of the potential for more. My status says I want to date but nothing serious. What that means to me is I'm in no hurry to rush into a relationship but if the right connection is found how in the world could I deny it. Keeping it simple at first like meeting for a happy hour or just coffee or tea to see if there is mutual interest to explore further.

Not big on the social scene, but I like to go out for dinner, concerts, parks, etc... and try new things or be introduced to the fun things other people do. I don't have a lot of hobbies and I don't have an inner circle of "the Guys" that I run off to and have fun with. I'm pretty much a rogue... gentleman.My career in sales and marketing gives me enough interaction with people, so I like to wind down with self-time or time spent with one other. So... have I been straight forward enough? Are we considering the same things at this time in our lives? I'm not closed minded - rather I'm open to the opportunities of the day.
