I have 2 amazing children, 22 & 23, who I love more than my next breath. I have the best job in the world ***being their father.I was married for 12 years and I've been in three, 4 year realtionships ***I've received extensive on-the-job relationship training, including: keeping the toilet seat down, knowing when to listen & not talk (approximately 95% of the time), knowing when someone needs to be held, say "pee", not "piss" (this is critical ***this might be the most important lesson to learn), etc. I enjoy "soft, wet kisses that last for days"-I enjoy pilates, bike riding on the Strand, art galleries, wine tastings, live music, spontaneous excursions, lying in the sun, watching movies that make me laugh & just hanging out. A sense of humor is important - I try to hold up my end, although you wouldn't know it reading this profile.; at least 6 countries in Europe. I might have been to more countries in Europe, but I would need a map of Europe to check.As a side note, people are concerned about smokers ***I'm happy to say, I only smoke ***when I'm on fire. So, I've got that going for me. I'm open to anything you feel comfortable with. Lunch, dinner, get-to-know-you glass of wine/your beverage of choice, quick cup of coffee ***somewhere we can talk and get to know each other, without straining to be heard, or, if you are shy ***we can simply drive past each other and wave.The place doesn't matter ***the people do.     I have never seen so many women who claim to have advanced degrees in one place before. That's good because smart is sexy. I drive a very small car. Its not a Smart Car ( and if my car is reading this, I was not trying to insult you.) Finally, I try to make music as a past time. I own more guitars than I should and nobody ever hears me play them. Some of the popular music that I have had a particular affinity for over the years include: The Beatles, XTC, Yes, Genesis, etc., etc.I am big into history, particularly European history. That is not to say I am *part* of European history, but that I like reading about it and in my limited travels, I have always like seeing sites that were historical in some way. I am quite content to live in the 21st century though.While I have not traveled extensively outside the United States, I'm quite game to and have a few destinations in mind. And no, they are not all cold, damp, foggy European destinations. This is one of the advantages to working in the travel buisiness. One reason I have not traveled too much is for the lack of a traveling companion. That's where you come in! Well, that is one of the places you come in. Things about women that appeal to me: She's smart. She likes to laugh. She doesn't take life *too* seriously. She's cute. She is independent. Though tend to total my tee, I would like to go and have a drink. I would be open to suggestions though.
