I've been fortunate enough to spend most of my life doing the things that truly drive me. I'm very passionate about my career. It keeps me busy 50 hours a week, and I have several other projects that occupy my time on weekends and some evenings. So, taking a break from it all is just as important to me.During the day, I oversee public relations, marketing and resource development (fundraising, special events, grant-writing and donor relations.Fun for me can be anything from tailgating to trying new restaurants, or socializing in a local pubs while listening to some good live music. I enjoy movies that make you laugh out loud, think deeply, or make you cry. I also enjoy the more simple things like stay-cations, camping, talking for hours or staring at the stars. I love museums, live theatre and culture. I enjoy playing piano, writing music, walking barefoot in the rain, watching storms, cuddling and playing footsie. I enjoy cooking, and I get better at it daily. I've recently taken an interest in traveling abroad...but mostly to the tropics.I am mostly moved by music and the performing arts. I am a deep thinker, and I enjoy a good conversation. I'm politically motivated. We don't have to take sides, but debate can be fun!I'm a White Sox fan true and true, and I never miss a Bears game. I enjoy coloring outside the lines. I'm good at solving problems, giving advice, and playing matchmaker with my friends. I'm also a very good crooner, and I love to sing a good sappy love song! When not in my element, people might first find me well-mannered, and reserved. When in my element, people might find me obnoxiously funny and outgoing. My ideal match would be an independent woman with her own thoughts, who is career minded and knows the direction she is going in life...and it's forward. She is honest, has integrity, is well-respected by her friends, is not afraid to be herself, speak her mind, laugh out loud, and enjoy life.
