Looking for: woman. In age: 39-49

I've been fortunate enough to spend most of my life doing the things that truly drive me. I'm very passionate about my career. It keeps me busy 50 hours a week, and I have several other projects that occupy my time on weekends and some evenings. So, taking a break from it all is just as important to me.During the day, I oversee public relations, marketing and resource development (fundraising, special events, grant-writing and donor relations.Fun for me can be anything from tailgating to trying new restaurants, or socializing in a local pubs while listening to some good live music. I enjoy movies that make you laugh out loud, think deeply, or make you cry. I also enjoy the more simple things like stay-cations, camping, talking for hours or staring at the stars. I love museums, live theatre and culture. I enjoy playing piano, writing music, walking barefoot in the rain, watching storms, cuddling and playing footsie. I enjoy cooking, and I get better at it daily. I've recently taken an interest in traveling abroad...but mostly to the tropics.I am mostly moved by music and the performing arts. I am a deep thinker, and I enjoy a good conversation. I'm politically motivated. We don't have to take sides, but debate can be fun!I'm a White Sox fan true and true, and I never miss a Bears game. I enjoy coloring outside the lines. I'm good at solving problems, giving advice, and playing matchmaker with my friends. I'm also a very good crooner, and I love to sing a good sappy love song! When not in my element, people might first find me well-mannered, and reserved. When in my element, people might find me obnoxiously funny and outgoing. My ideal match would be an independent woman with her own thoughts, who is career minded and knows the direction she is going in life...and it's forward. She is honest, has integrity, is well-respected by her friends, is not afraid to be herself, speak her mind, laugh out loud, and enjoy life. She is not afraid to love unconditionally, and is faithful to the commitments she makes. But let's just start with coffee or lunch, great conversation, and a few laughs... Lately, I'm leaning more toward the "speed dating" approach. Having been disappointed after several dates lately, I've found that I much prefer a more low-key chat over coffee or lunch.) Good conversation and social compatibility is key!!! Of course, if things go well, I would very much be looking forward to our 2nd date, and doing something a bit more exciting and "on the town") But let's leave that for the imagination!!!

Hi there, I'm a suave smooth talking ex-Baywatch star, okay, just kidding, but I do have alot of good qualities: a great sense of humor, naturally cheerful, a loving heart, can carry on an intelligent conversation, honest, silly, jack-of-all-trades, organized, hard worker, spiritual (but I'm open to all religions), moral, slightly geeky, easy-going, calm, classy gentleman.I used to program computers & hike & bike & swim & play tennis, but I came down with some disabilities some years ago - long story - I can tell you about it if you're interested. Since then I've learned alot about natural healing & nutrition, now I avoid GMO's, vaccines, pesticides, most wheat, fluoride, canola oil, doctors, most dentists, etc. I don't need any help, I drive, I walk, I don't take any medications, but unfortunately I can't do athletics/sports anymore. So I'm pretty much home most of the time and live a quiet lifestyle. Some things I can still enjoy: sitcoms/comedy-movies, 80's music, nice classical music, some internet radio talk shows, some internet news but I don't like main stream TV news because they don't give you much of the story and sometimes even lie about details of big events, sitting or strolling outside at home or a park or a beach, sunsets, bird/animal watching, stargazing, photography, watching kids, warm weather, I'd try target shooting (not interested in hunting though but no disrespect), gardening, homesteading, prepping, meditating - I'm working on it but my mind has a mind of its own, hanging out with friends, fruit smoothies, homemade veggie burgers, mini-golf, full-size golf with a golf cart, helping others, reading, country drives with or without a mixtape - yes I do have an mp3 player - plus my bucket has one of those safe cable throttles so it won't kill us, sometimes I make a funny picture or video or write a serious article for the internet, I want to start a couple simple websites that I think will help people but haven't gotten around to it yet, I'm up for anything as long as I can physically do it.I'm looking for someone that's okay with my disabilities, in that I can't go hiking etc like I used to be able to.

I just have a zest for living and appreciate each day. I would love to find that special someone to help me share those days. I am hard working but easy to get along with according to my friends. I am the guy that helps others out often because I am a softy even though I show a tough exterior at times. I like to stay busy and keep a schedule but hey I can break out of it quick if it is for the best. We get too caught up in this crazy world of gadgets, but I have a good number of them too (yea even a fancy smart phone). But I don't let them overwhelm my life and miss real life things that are around me. When I am talking to a person at dinner I give the cell phone a rest and I appreciate it when others do the same, but of course its not a requirement. I have a PhD in medicinal chemistry and so far that has helped me achieve many goals I had set in my teens. I can play a mean harmonica with any guitar (country, blues, or rock) all I have to do is hear that guitar; so god gave me that talent. I can sing as well and many folks say I can stay with the upper karaoke folks. I can swim very well too since I enjoy scuba diving and have worked as a life guard around age 20. I think a first date should include a nice lunch or early dinner at a quaint restaurant so both persons can get to know each other easily to see if they mesh well. I would like the young woman to feel I cared much that she had taken time out to meet me so I would probably bring some flowers just to brighten her day (I am old fashion like that since I am a southern boy born and raised from GA). That would be enough for the first date unless we both decided to do something else like take a walk or get a coffee, but that would only be if we had the time and also if we both wanted to hang out a little longer.
