I can't help you.Ok, hands up everyone who thought they would never be on a website like this?....Mmmm, that's alot of fingers in the air.My 9 year old niece can't understand why I don't have a girlfriend when she has 3 boyfriends in her class at school!!My Grandad once told me.. I'm not sure what this says about me but it's always good to kick off with a joke.I asked a friend how she would best describe me and she said I was "nice". This reply didn't exactly inspire me with confidence, but after a little bit of coaxing and investing in 3 large glasses of Merlot, she said I was a "fantastic catch". Hey, you can't beat a bit of alcoholic arm twisting! Don't worry, once you see through my self-deprecating sense of humour, you will discover I'm actually quite dull.I'm always up for a good night out on the sofa, or cuddling up to a good club with a DVD.If I had to describe myself in a sentence, I would say I'm someone who's down to earth, well educated, honest, assured, but not over confident, considerate and good looking (according to my drunk friend!) Who am I looking for? Well, I guess I'd like to meet someone who has "lived a bit". I know that is a bit of a vague cliche, but I find I connect better with people who have successfully negoiated life's peaks and troughs and have come out smiling the other side. I'm looking to date with a view to a long term relationship. You're out there somewhere and I will find you. :-)I'd say I was low maintenance. I've celebrated more than 40 birthdays now so I quite relaxed about life. Nothing much gets to me. I'm independent and quite happy doing my own thing. Perhaps a bar or pub to suss each other out.     Enjoy both playing and listening to music. been very much into hard rock/heavy metal for a long time but friends have introduced me to other types of music recently which has opened up a whole new listening experience.I love swimming, especially snorkelling with my youngest daughter (who encourages me to go in the sea when its way too cold).
