Well P.O.F. is my first attempt at a dating website so therefore I honestly do not have any expectations. Saying that, I realise anything can happen but mostly this is supposed to be fun so that's my approach. Of course ultimately I'd like something long term but I'm not in a rush; it has to right for both obviously. And I'm not not one of those guys who has to have someone tied to my hip ***. Oh & I already have a mother I wouldn't want or expect you to be mine! I can cook & clean lol. As far as me personally, I've been divorced 5 years & have a boy in 4th grade who I am very proud of, and he's much smarter than me if only i could get him to take more showers! And would I want another? Maybe. Physically I like to run, bike, yoga, basketball usual stuff. And btw, if someone can teach me to ice skate lol. Culturally yes I can and often do read. Plays and concerts are fun also. Yes there's more but what would we talk about? Anyway, I will have to get a pic of me smiling (I am not angry or always so serious) & a better outfit say? save that for a date. Well I look much better in person at least from what I've been told lol! I hate taking pictures really! Lastly, I believe it's important to meet sooner rather than later. E.g. you might have Oprah's personality that's great but if you weigh more than me or you haven't seen a dentist in well..... Ok a little weight is understandable it's tougher as we get older no joke. Someplace we can see & hear one another is a plus.

If you're afraid of the possibilities of a man falling in love with you...please stop here and read no further. Ok.. I got asked this (not sure why it matters) but I am putting it here... 5'10" ***lbs. (no beer gut) blue eyes that turn green (they actually do) and yes... all my parts are still factory original, still attached, and they work.I guess the important details are out of the way... read on to find out the "insignificant" stuff below.I rehab houses with my so called "spare" time. I live every day completely unconventional "outside the box." I'm laid back with a good sense of humor. I am not afraid to toss out a one liner that makes you stop and think. On the flipside, I have no trouble telling it like it is. "look out DR PHIL." I'm fair, reasonable, and extremely low maintenance... you can keep me for a $3.68 a day or less.. and I'm housebroken, (I put the seat down) Show me a little kindness, and respect, and I will bend over backwards to please you. "Oh... and if you scratch my back lightly, I won't move a muscle.. but I will purr..."I love children of all ages, (I have raised a few)..just never had any of my own. (If you have them it doesn't make me turn and run away, then again I am not looking to make any new ones either) I was one of the lucky "chosen kids" and thankful every day for the parents that picked me out of the pile, hosed me off and said "yeah... he'll do" (yes adopted)I'm just your "above average joe" looking for the right woman. (aren't we all)... I'm looking for a professional woman, one who takes care of herself physically, emotionally and financially. Someone hardworking, honest and caring. Someone who wants to spend more time with me, than at the mall. Someone who is passionate about everything she does. Has confidence when and where ever. Someone who can be a tiger behind closed doors yet likes to be made to purr...and yes I know my way around the female form quite well. (its not always about the guy) Someone who is strong yet feminine. The kind of woman who can hold her own with the boys and yet likes to be treated like a woman. Most importantly, one who believes in family. I am impressed by some of the littlest things. IE the confidence of posting a full picture of yourself, a cute note on the mirror in your lipstick, or a heart scribbled on a piece of paper tucked into my pocket. Yep I am a die hard romantic. The kind I can take home to mom, yet I could take to the rooftop and make love to under the stars while a thousand people meander by down below wishing they could be doing what we are doing.Things I like to do but don't always get the chance; bowling, volleyball, walking, roller skating, boomerangs in an open field, swimming, hiking, antiquing, strolling the flea market, or the occasional garage sale, miniature golf, water/snow skiing.Things I can't do... dance... two left flat feet... sorry... I can't speak a foreign language either. But I have the gestures down to get me both in and out of trouble. (bought a passport off a local for 15 bucks and a bottle of ripple, so I am good to go)Someone once asked me how I choose to spend my rainy days: below you will find a sample of what lurks behind my blue eyes...a glass of wine or o.j. on the nightstand... the silhouette of the human form as it passes a partially open window... white sheer drapes in choreographed motion with every breeze that flows by. Rain creating puddles on the ground below... the flashes of lightning allowing only moments of visuals to appease the eyes in the darkness... a world at halt...and the occasional roar of thunder, as two souls melt into one without interruption.IF you can melt my mind... you can have my body... if you can melt my heart... you can have my soul...Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. Well, as I'm not into the bar scene, I'm pretty open to most other things, a nice walk along the river, (or anywhere). Dinner out (somewhere a little more quiet)Maybe set the table for two with candles, flowers, and a bottle of wine. Something on the grill, perhaps. Soft music in the background... I want to be able to hang on every word my partner is saying. If the chemistry were right, be able to cuddle up and watch a movie. I would drive my date home (actually stop the car) and give her a good night kiss she wouldn't forget.... I guess you could say I prefer to date the woman not the event. My taste in Music... mostly 80's... some 70's, country, r&b ...not much for RAP, or Opera
