I work as an analyst at a large financial *** was a web application developer in a previous life. I wouldn't say I'm a "computer geek", but I do admit to playing Dungeons & Dragons when I was younger.:) I don't smoke and I drink socially. I'm a bit of a coffee drinker but my main vice is Diet Dr. Pepper.My main interest is music. I play bass and guitar, but mostly a bass player. I'm in a folk/country band playing mostly original material. I've been playing more oldies/muzak/blues for the last few years. I was even in a country band for a while, how about that?-cuban, latin jazz, Indian classical jazz-fusion, Soul, R&B, Blues, world music, and Rock. I can play most of that to some degree except the Indian jazz-fusion music, that's hard stuff. More of a groove player but am known to "push the envelope" a bit.:) Not much into classical music, but I did go through that phase years ago.I go to the used record store often and get anything that looks cool. I've been doing this since the late 80s and I have a ton of stuff. Most of the stuff I buy can be classified as "jazz".I watch some sports. I'm an "old time" hockey fan. I have to admit I was a fan of "sports entertainment" for many years but haven't been following it very much. I know a little too much about the business. I watch auto racing, mostly Formula One. Not much into NASCAR or IRL. I watch ALMS and DTM if I see it on SPEED. I used to compete in the sport of Olympic Weightlifting. I wasn't very competitive though. I lifted at the state championships a couple of times but they let anyone lift there. I haven't lifted for years and a bit out of shape. Believe it or not, I have some athletic ability and I laugh at bodybuilders. :) I may try a comeback in weightlifting.I follow the buckeyes a little. I graduated from there, but am not a die-hard fan. I go to OSU hockey and baseball games from time to time. If you have an extra ticket to football or basketball, you may be able to twist my arm. And I found a couple. I'm a bit of a movie buff. I lean toward action movies and like watching lower budget films. I used to do the $1 movies quite often but haven't gone in a while. I have a pretty good selection of DVDs. Believe it or not, Big Lots is a good place to get them.I'm looking for a long term relationship. probably grab coffee somewhere. Chat, hang out , maybe a movie, go see a local band.

Are you tired of being with the same ole' guys who are unimaginative and take you out to the same old places? Do you desire to be loved like you are the most beautiful woman in the world? I am an active person and lead an active lifestyle. I am a hopeless romantic and eager to please. I pride myself in being able to write a heart-melting love letter when I am feeling it. :) I have diverse tastes and open to new and exciting things within reason. As long as it is legal and won't get me killed, then I am usually game. I like to think that I am a unique find. I can be a lover and a best friend. Let's see....My ideal match would preferably be between the ages of 30 and 44. As long as she is above the age of 25 and below the age of 48, I will keep an open mind and not totally discount you. I am turned on by a woman of intellect who can hold a conversation about most anything. Please do not come to me ***, thoughtless, bigoted or radical in your views. Any woman who laughs at my jokes is a major plus. I tend to joke a lot. Smokers, illegal drug users and heavy drinkers need not apply. Above else, she must be mature enough to be in a relationship, yet still be youthful enough to enjoy life. If you are an angry person, please stay away! I have dated more than my fair share of those and do not wish for another. Nothing wrong with having a bad day every now and again. We all do. Just learn to have some self-control, take a deep breath and tell yourself the day is only going to get better. I am pretty easy to please. Hopefully you are too. People who know me will tell you that it doesn't take a whole lot to keep me content. My ideal first date is to go somewhere where the two of us could talk, ask each other questions and get to know each other. A walk in the park, lunch at an outdoor cafe, or a bowling date will do quite nicely. If it is something different and it won't kill me, then I am pretty much game for anything. Not a fan of dinner and a movie on first dates. Can't hold a conversation in a dark movie theater.
