Well to be honest I am pretty skeptical about this whole online dating scene, but a friend of mine has been pushing me to try it out so here goes nothing..Upon first impression, people tend to perceive me as a shy girl. Which I guess is half true. It takes me a little bit to warm up to new people. However, once I get comfortable around someone I open up and my true personality is exposed. I'm laid back and very open minded to new experiences and different perspectives. I love to have fun whether it be going out dancing, sitting at home with a glass of wine and a movie, or staying up late with good friends and good conversation. Like I said I'm quiet at first, but once I let you in I am quite the chatterbox as well as a great listener. As far as hobbies, I love music. Although I'm not musically inclined, music is a big aspect of life. I love driving around listening to my favorites cds for hours, and going to live shows. A certain song can change my mood or even set the tone for the night. Music makes. me wanna shake my ass or reflect on past times. You get the point lol. I also love creative writing and poetry. Currently I am a waitress, but I'm in the process of going back to grad school for my masters in Speech-Language Pathology. Eventually I would like to work in a school setting with children that have special needs. This is getting pretty long winded, but there is so much more left unsaid.     I just moved here for work and I'm still getting accustomed to all the changes that has entailed. Travel has been a lifelong passion of mine and I consider myself very lucky to have actually been able to travel and have experienced as much of the world as I have. I used to dream of travelling to every country in the world but in reality I'm far too fond of my life to venture in some of the trouble spots where I'd be putting said life at risk. However, ask me my PLAN for how I'm going to do this, and I'm not sure. I'd also like to take over the world at some point. Perhaps live on a boat in the middle of the Caribbean for a couple years.If you haven't noticed I hate to sit still. On the same token I am a very dedicated and responsible person. What a conundrum.I greatly appreciate coffee. My mornings generally start with a coma like state in which I wander around until I've had at least 2 cups of coffee, at which point I may be able to converse with the rest of society. Just putting that out there. Go skydiving. If the weather isn't cooperating, coffee is fine.
