I find this on-line dating stuff intimidating but here we go! I'm a quiet, laid back, easy going person. I'm devoted 100% to the people I care about; my kids, my family, my friends. I'd like to add a special someone into that mix. While I enjoy an occasional evening out I also like the simple things like walks on the beach (I live 5 minutes from the waterfront trail), hiking and long drives. You know you're comfortable with someone when you can go for a drive and just hold hands and not have to talk to fill the silence. I would rather check out comfortable restaurants with good food than expensive ones. I like all animals but have only two cats so I don't qualify to be the crazy cat lady yet! Love dogs but just don't have the time for one of my own. I truly do like all kinds of music from pop, hard rock, country, classical, heavy metal, even some rap. I have two older teenagers with extremely diverse tastes so I get exposed to lots of musical variety!I like a guy who knows his way around tools, both the car and house variety! Easy-going, down to earth and honest and a good sense of humour! Yes, the sense of humour is as important as they say it is! Family is important to me. My two teenagers live with me and although they're older, they're still a large part of my life. I know at this stage in life no one comes without ties and commitments and I respect that.I'm would like to find someone local.     I love to have fun. I would love to have won that Mega lottery last night,...but I didn't!! Oh well, I guess I'll have to work for a living! I'm a Great Mom! I am a good friend. I have many acquaintances, but a few friends have been in my life more than 20 years. My friends are important to me. They say that I am nice, honest, caring, beautiful and intelligent, a Good person, and have many talents, a good sense of humor, and deserve to be well-treated. I agree, why argue when they are correct? After we chat some, we could make a date to meet for Happy Hour, or to get a bite to eat somewhere casual...maybe have a snack and walk in the park, or on the beach. Since this is a first date it will be somewhere public, where we can talk, maybe participate in an activity, and enjoy each other's company.I'm fairly comfortable in most places so, make a suggestion, we'll make the best of whatever happens and could have a really great time!
