I am mostly easy going, love to travel to new places, love to learn new things and apply them in my life. I love a good mystery - book or movie. I have been known to camp, hike, bird watch, and other outdoor activities. I like to fish, but haven't been in quite a while. Have not been hunting, but am willing to give it a try, as long as the weapon is a camera. I used to ski, but after an injury, I'm a little skiddish, so I probably wouldn't go higher than the bunny slopes, if at all. LOL I like all kinds of sports - but, would rather see them in person than on TV. I love intellectual conversation, even an occasional debate. I am somewhat conservative, but not enough to label me an "R", and not liberal enough to be a "D", so I guess I'm 'middle of the road'. I do my research, and vote my conscience. My color code is tied between blue and white, and my love language is 'acts of service'. I've learned as I've gotten older, that perfection is not attainable - so, I'm not looking for someone perfect - just someone perfect for me. :-)I do like a good 'adventure', whether it be something as easy as trying a new food - or as intricate as backpacking across Europe. Combine the two, and we've got real fun! I've been to a few places, but there is still so many things I'd like to do, and finding the right partner to share the experiences would be icing on the cake! I'm looking for a kind man, who is thoughtful, considerate, sincere, loving and genuine. I'm looking for the kind of chemistry that when two people have an understanding of, and attraction to each other that goes beyond always needing words to express. I'm not looking for an exact copy of myself - but, someone who complements my qualities, understands my needs, (and vice versa), and the kind of affection to be able to support each other in rough times. Trust, loyalty, genuine friendship, open communication, optimism, respect, compassion.....these things are important, too. I can't compromise on those. Oh, and he needs to have a good sense of humor, handy with tools, likes to cook (or at least share in preparation of meals), knows what he wants, and interested in self-improvement in some way. LOL - does this guy even exist?I am retired from my first career, and I am considering taking a temporary overseas job, so I need to find someone who is up for that adventure! Or, maybe just someone who has the time and resources available to grab a Eurorail pass and go on an adventure....or, perhaps the bullet train across Japan. What's on your bucket list? Perhaps we can do these things and make memories together? Does it give you the travel bug? If so, there's something we have in common!I look forward to hearing from you! Hello There,Thanks for stopping by to check out my profile, so please get comfortable while I tell you a little about myself .....I enjoy music very much ..... rock, love to bang my head to heavy metal, not really into country music. I am a big fan of Joe Satriani though, that guy can sure play guitar! You should check him out if you haven't heard or seen him play ! Love going to concerts, checking out live bar bands, just seen USS in Brampton in the rain! I listen to 102.1 & enjoy the Dean Blundell Show, I have a great sense of humor when it comes to those guys!I watch a little tv mostly comedy & of course my Y & R. I like to watch action movies, & I have been enjoying the Walking Dead .... Would enjoy snuggling up with someone though ! I enjoy cooking Iam a pretty good one people say, haven't poisoned anyone yet ! With it just being myself mostly ( my youngest is ***I would really love to have some company in the kitchen experimenting together over a glass of good wine! I like to keep active ......walks together, checking out different places, beautiful scenery,& romantic outings for the day or a weekend getaway ! Plus after work I go to the gym & workout ! I want to experience a motorcycle adventure .... They say a Harley is the best ride ..... I want to feel those vibrations & enjoy the ride with my special person!! lol Although in the winter there is some hibernation going on ..... I just can't handle the cold like I use too! We would need to snuggle up by the fireplace on a bear skin rug ! Lol. Seriously though I enjoy ice fishing, ski dooing, skating , ( its been a while) these things remind me of growing up in NFLD! My parents are from Austria & Switzerland & Very romantic scenery makes me so loving ! Lol In the future though I would enjoy a getaway to somewhere hot, on a resort with someone special ..... Never been yet !!Are you still with me ...... Need to take a break yet ? Remember no smoking allowed ..... Only a little bit of the good stuff ! Lol I have a great sense of humor love comedy, & the outrageousness of 102.1 .....The Dean Blundell Show !! ( I still know how to be around family & children though) Yes I enjoy laughing & being happy go lucky, no DRAMA for me or my 2 daughters ! Down to earth tell it like it is & I can take it too ! LOL Very straight up when need be .... Not into playing mind games & keeping you in the dark. I want it to be both ways, & be very honest with each other ! Not looking for someone to take care of me, ( except for a nice massage once in a while ....someone with strong hands of course) lol. I am looking to work together & succeed together ..... Iam a very hard worker Mon-Fri, I have young adults ( how time flies) that are able to take care of themselves, but still need their mom some times( no grandchildren yet) ...... Looking forward to that too when the timing is right !! So I am a very loving, touching, kissable,caring person, think of others, not self absorbed, love the simple good things in life ..... So this is what Iam looking for in a man:Someone that takes pride in their appearance-- I like jeans & t-shirt too,Ambition,Motivated,Someone that can be open minded,Happy attitude ,Not judgmental, accept people however they may be,Outgoing - enjoy your life, we only have one to live so let's make the best of it ,So if you meet these requirements & I will be happy to accept more positive ones too!
