I enjoy spending time with my "Special needs" sons,my dog and friends. I like to go boating and swimming and I enjoy practicing at the shooting range. I also have a passion for volunteering, spending Sundays at church and stimulating conversation. Some information that should be perfectly clear is that my "special needs" sons (adopted about 26 years ago) live with me. At this juncture that is their choice. I made a commitment to love and protect them many years ago and I will continue to carry out my responsibilities and my joy..My life is great the way it is right now so to have an amazing man to be a part of that will be a bonus. . .The real me is barefoot in the country in a pair of cut-offs in a tank top, laughing and joking with friends. Maybe a little fishing, if I don't have to be quiet. Singing country music with the radio up loud. Spending time with cows and horse. I don't really like birds they scare the crap out of me. I like Hummingbirds cause they like to fight...What makes me unique, well that would be everything. I defiantly don't fit anyone's mold. I can dress to impress and knock it out in jeans and boots. My sense on humor is truly goofy and I'm not afraid to laugh at myself. I have been everything from Business Owner to Longhorn Wrangler. I have been involved in Search and Recovery for many years. Since billboards are costly, let me start this off by disclosing that I work second shift, that is afternoons, Monday - Friday, I have weekends and the normal holidays and not so normal holidays off, and also 4 weeks vacation but...again...I work second shift...Sorry, if that is an issue look at all the time I just saved you. A great foundation for a relationship begins with friendship, similar interests and different perspectives. I hope my good qualities overpower my shortcomings but, as they say...it is, what it is. I do have a great sense of humor, a brain that stays engaged for longer then 30 seconds at a time and I have never been arrested, detained or even questioned, as far as you know.... This is totally a shot in the dark looking to make a connection with someone who will read all of the above and says to himself...hey, I wanna meet the lady who speeds, swears, ties up a checkout, laughs and thinks for herself.. she sounds interesting.. but then again, I guess that is why we are all here. I have 2 grown sons. My life is busy, but always very blessed. It is my hope to find someone I connect with to eventually have a forever, but, that being said, I am not desperate or into serial dating. If you are, you are knocking on the wrong girls door. When, and if, the right one comes along, it will happen. If not, I guess it's just destiny. At this age no one is perfect, flawless, or unmarked by what life has handed you and I am very upfront that I am in no way a Barbie shaped girl, they are out there, if that's what you seek and prefer, that's great and I wish you well, but trust me, it's just not me, A mutual photo exchange is appreciated and only fair. And, although I can hold my own in an endurance contest, I am not scaling buildings, walking on tight ropes, climbing mountains or claiming that I am going to run any marathons...Nope, not gonna happen. Again, I am sure there are plenty out there who do these things, I am just not one of them,,, Ohhhh P.S... I think pretty much anyone over 18 has a car, not sure why that is a profile question....I would think it more important to know who has a valid license and their own insurance...cause...you're not borrowing my car... even if you ask nice...nope, not gonna happen... Sorry, not into bars, I don't dance, sky dive, train for triathlons or leap tall buildings in a single bound...; Let's do something low key and fun where we can enjoy each others company or determine we were never meant to meet.. Sorry, if I haven't seen your face I would never, ever, consider meeting...watched too many Law n Order and CSI episodes...No intention of having a show written about me.
