Love talking about myself, not. Please note my intent says "I want a serious relationship." If you need that explained to you then you probably need to keep looking and not waste your time on me. I have a 13 yr old son at home so my standards are high. I don't do bars and haven't in years. I stay very busy with my son who plays all sports and we are crazy about sports. I'd rather be at a ball game than anywhere in the world. :) Just kidding. Love working in the yard and spending time at the lake with friends and their kids as well as mine. I also have two adult children who are married, spending time with them is very important to me.Hope you are having a wonderful day and wish you the best of luck in your search.p.s. If I don't reply to a message you send, don't be offended or keep pushing. If I'm interested I'll let you know up front. Surprise me.

ABOUT ME:I would describe myself as the comic who plays the role of the serious professional to hold down a job. Actually, I'm not always the SERIOUS professional, but I manage to run a relatively successful client base while being myself and have fun doing it. I'm definitely not the mall and manicure type of girl (although I like both once in a while). I can find humor almost anywhere (sometimes where I shouldn't and very often sarcastic (with love***so those who can't laugh at themselves need not apply). I've been told I have a quick wit but I'll let you be the judge of that.I try to stay in shape: hit the gym 3 or 4 times a week.I am very independent and self sufficient..a straight shooter......not looking to be rescued. That said, it would be great to have a shoulder to lean on after a hard day and to be that shoulder for someone else. I love to travel. I haven't had the opportunity to do much lately but my goal is to go absolutely everywhere. I particularly like off-the-beaten track places..family run hotels, etcFavorite movie: Sense and Sensibility.- chick flick but it is also wonderfully edited and Jane Austen's dialogue is wonderful).I started my college career as a classical voice major and music is still very imortant to me. My kids think I know the words to every song ever written (I also remember the lyrics to most songs from Bugs Bunny cartoons and old commercials, but I digress...). I love everything from Pavarotti to the Beastie Boys to Hot Hot Heat. I love to dance and keep threatening to take latin dance lessons but I've yet to do it.One of my favorite things to do is to wander around antique or salvage shops. I love old things: from fine antiques to funky stuff. I'm working on renovating my 3rd victorian house so when I put down my sander and goggles, I'm always looking for the next design idea or the rare item I can't live without. My favorite author is Dr. Seuss....really....ABOUT YOU:You are confident, speak your mind, and respect and enjoy differences of opinion. You're slow to anger and when you occasionally get there, you don't waste energy hanging on to it. You accept and respect differences in others. You are a hard worker but know how to kick back. You have a wicked sense of humor and can be downright silly if the mood strikes. You enjoy all kinds of music, travel, and elegant affairs but are just as comfortable with barefoot bbq's and trashy weddings. You are physically active, stay in good shape and have a relatively healthy lifestyle (except for that occasional bag of chips you just have to have (substitute your favorite indulgence). You respect the independent woman but know that, no matter how strong we are, we all love the simple, romantic reminders that we are loved and appreciated.Although it is unlikely that I would be described as shy, I will most likely not initiate conversation, so if you are interested, please send me a note that says more than "Hi" or "How are you today?" BYOB restaurants are great for first dates. Usually the food and the wine is better ... and the setting lends itself to conversation and getting to know each other. I've always thought hiking might be a great first date - somehow I think walking would calm the first date nerves. It also offers a quick getaway if things aren't going so well...
