Here we go again, lets try this one more time. Looking for respectful decent, patient man... Why does everything have to be such a rush?I have been a single mother for many years and now that my children are grown i find myself alone most of the time. I believe maybe it is time for me to rejump my social life. Most people know exactly what they like to do for fun but unfortunately I am lost for words unfortunately. I feel I have spent most of my time doing what my children like to do that I really never got to know myself or what it is I like to do for fun.At any rate, I am looking for that special someone that may be able to show me how to live again, be adventurous, have fun, smile, be happy. I am ready to leave the nest so to speak lol.Well if you think you are that person or could be that person please ***, I am not looking to serial date as it just takes one so i hope that ONE comes sooner than later lol. i like surprises i do and i like to be spontaneous when i can but hey i dont consider skinny dipping a good first date lol geesh..... im not that girl.

Hi..I guess the best words to describe myself would be caring, affectionate, funny although my kids might disagree, and fun loving. I love to try new things theres alot i havent done in my life so alot would be new to me. Love music, my least favorite is country, but slowly im getting to like a few songs but only for a short time. I prefer top 40, hip hop, 80s and 90s. I like to watch movies, not slasher ones, more like chick flicks or action and drama. Love pizza, dt mt dew and salads. I love the summer months when I can get out and enjoy the weather, sun worshiper. Not looking for games, or drama really want to settle down with someone and spend the rest of my life with them. I am divorced with 4 kids, only one is still at home though. They are my life!!

I keep seeing profiles that say things like "I'm looking for a woman who likes hiking, canoing, sports and camping". This confuses me. Are you looking for a woman to replace your guy friends? Shared interests are nice, sure. But say you find this elusive guy in a hot chick's body that you all seem to be looking for. The first time you want to go to a football game with your buddies she's going to be all like "DUDE!! I can't believe you went without me!!!"So here's me. I do not hike. I go for walks in the park and would love it if you'd go with me. If not, no biggie. My dog is more than happy to go.I do not canoe. Nor do I raft. Or waterski. If you have a boat that's big enough that I can walk around on it, count me in. As long as I don't have to get too sweaty.I do not snow ski either.Sports...meh. I'd like to go to a game or two a year. If you want. If not, it's cool. I LOVE camping. In a cabin or camper. Preferably with air conditioning.Because here's the thing...I'm a CHICK! I'm looking for someone to go on, yaknow, DATES with. Dinner. A movie. Or we can stay in and rent a DVD and I'll cook. Or we can cook together. We can do the kind of things you wouldn't dream of doing with your buddies. Ok end of rant. That's just been bugging me. I am a 47 year old divorced single mom with a good job, my own home, an 18 year old son, an amicable relationship with my ex husband and no drama! My hope is to find an intelligent, funny, independent, employed, responsible but fun male with the shared goal of getting off meetville for good. In my spare time I volunteer for a dog rescue, go to movies, read, hang out with my dogs. Concerts and comedy clubs and cooking are all fun with someone but not so much fun alone. I love animals of all kinds. I have two small dogs. I don't put clothes on them and they don't sleep with me but if you're someone who says "It's JUST a dog" we probably wouldn't get along.I would like to learn how to play golf, and maybe learn how to dance. But it will take some serious patience to get me to the point where I can do either without embarrassing myself. I believe relationships take work, but there are very few problems that can't be solved by open conversation, a sincere apology or a nap. Let's get to know each other and see what happens. It's a scary world out there, and there is no shortage of wackadoodles, so our first date will be somewhere very public, but hopefully quiet enough for us to talk and get to know each other. It doesn't have to be a big deal. By the time we meet in person we will have ***, texted and talked on the phone so we will just be trying to figure out if there is any connection there in person.
