Every aspect of my life is dedicated to the search for balance. I am an explorer but revel in my home time. I am somewhat of an introvert but love to dance. I can happily spend a day with my camera absorbing the essence of the sea then just want to bask in the company of true like-minded friends. I love both the country road and the city art gallery. I feel there is not much that a trip to the ocean, a gathering around a fire (maybe with a guitar thrown in for good measure - no not into the fire :-), or a great story can't cure. But I love a great movie, game of Scrabble or rummy, creative meal cooked together, or a silly joke. I believe that honor, magic and beauty are still very much alive in our world. I trust that you do too.OK the rest will wait in balance for another day and per chance a shared cup of great coffee or some caramels...as they are better than the average jelly bean... My first date would be ideal somewhere where we could meet over coffee or a margarita and then if we are brew/lime compatible go for a walk to tell each other our best stories. If not then hey no harm no foul. We still had a great drink with a Brave fellow seeker...

After having written (and re-written) several of these little informational essays, I find that it would be so much easier to sort of make a list. There, so much easier.As for detailing what I'm looking for...maybe I should make a list that too:Please be intelligent; please take good care of yourself; please don’t eat a lot of fast food; please bathe at least once a day; please have a working knowledge of pop culture before ***; please don’t ***, Twitter, or be *** minutes; please be articulate; please be able to laugh at yourself; please don’t pick your teeth, your nose, your ears or your butt in public (or - dare I say it - habitually "rearrange" yourself either); please...having teeth is NOT optional!; please like to dance - anything from Salsa to Line dancing; please enjoy singing in the car or at least tolerate it when I do it; please be generous of heart mind, and spirit; please don't throw like a girl; please understand that being an avid reader - to me - means reading a novel, not a magazine; please have good table manners; please be liberal; please don't mind getting your hands dirty; please say please…and thank you.Oh, and also: please think the sun rises and sets on me (What? A little too much?).
