About Me

Good food is my ultimate aphrodisiac... I am in constant struggle with the rational and the irrational side of me...I make friends in the unlikeliest of places, and I love to talk! I truly do believe that life is too short to sweat the small stuff, and because of this I pick my battles carefully. I believe that laughter heals any and everything. What else can I share??? I love music, and much like my favorite movies, I will play the same cd over and over and over, just because of how it makes me feel when I listen to it. I just started to collect albums, and I do have a record player:) so much fun... When it works:) I think music is like a photo album... A song can take you back to a moment, a friend, a time in your life... I always have my music on!Let's see, my family and friends ground me... I will try anything once, twice if I am not sure.... I am VERY social, and not in the least bit shy. Damn, this is tough... I curse like a sailor, have been on here once before, but was truly not ready. My family comes first, that said I am the oldest in a very large, Irish, Catholic family, and I am definitely the "black sheep.” I subscribe to that statement and firmly believe that every family needs some color, I am that in spades! I love to laugh as I have mentioned earlier, and it truly has been my saving grace. Hmmmmm, let's see.... I speak my mind, I just don't believe in games... and as much as I try to avoid it, trouble always seems to find me.     What to say, does anyone read this? I say not but here goes, I am a pretty simple person who has a great job, an amazing family, pretty fun friends but I am missing someone special in my life. I was married for 10 years and divorced for 5. While I have no children I do have wonderful nieces and a godchild and feel pretty confident I can handle anything they throw at me. You should also know I have two Shih Tzus (furry little dogs...lol) that have no plans on moving out any time soon. My kids with fur can however stay with my parents at a moments notice if I decide to take a last minute vacation :). I love my jobs, yes I have two,it keeps me busy and grounded, am always taking a class here and there to keep my mind sharp. My family lives at the beach, its tough to have to visit in the summer but someone has to, my friends are crazy and wonderful, my parents are still married after 54 years, they give me hope in a happy ever after. I like my gyms, (yes both of them), reading and probably have too many pairs of shoes but that is my only vice so I would say that isnt so bad.I have no drama in my life and dont tolerate people who do. I am looking to add some fun and joy and excitement to my life not complicate it. To have a date for dinner, a gym partner and someone to call at the end of the day.
