About Me

Good food is my ultimate aphrodisiac... I am in constant struggle with the rational and the irrational side of me...I make friends in the unlikeliest of places, and I love to talk! I truly do believe that life is too short to sweat the small stuff, and because of this I pick my battles carefully. I believe that laughter heals any and everything. What else can I share??? I love music, and much like my favorite movies, I will play the same cd over and over and over, just because of how it makes me feel when I listen to it. I just started to collect albums, and I do have a record player:) so much fun... When it works:) I think music is like a photo album... A song can take you back to a moment, a friend, a time in your life... I always have my music on!Let's see, my family and friends ground me... I will try anything once, twice if I am not sure.... I am VERY social, and not in the least bit shy. Damn, this is tough... I curse like a sailor, have been on here once before, but was truly not ready. My family comes first, that said I am the oldest in a very large, Irish, Catholic family, and I am definitely the "black sheep.” I subscribe to that statement and firmly believe that every family needs some color, I am that in spades! I love to laugh as I have mentioned earlier, and it truly has been my saving grace. Hmmmmm, let's see.... I speak my mind, I just don't believe in games... and as much as I try to avoid it, trouble always seems to find me.     Well the wine bottle wont talk to you but I will. Wine a little..and you will feel better. Anyway, i do like wine and it does seem to make a moment relaxed and a little daring to have a conversation. Not that I can't do that without wine, but i do like it. It's even healthy for you in small amounts. So if you want to meet and have a glass of wine and perhaps dinner if we can still talk, that would be good. The classy side of me likes to listen to a live jazz or blues at a restaurant. However I like the fun music too. I like all kinds of music old and new. Not so much a country girl or heavy metel, but anything that is truly sung with true emotion and calamity is what I like. Got a bicycle? I've done some fishing but unfortunately I prefer someone else to clean the fish-I would if i had to. Hike, bike, tube, canoe, kayak...love it all. I absolutely love cooking over a campfire. I'm very capable. I'm the persone to "go to" if you forgot something to bring. Ask me more.My goal is to find someone who is on the same page with me and likes to do things. I used to frequent the bars being single and I am so turned off by that whole business at this time in my life. Not that I don't enjoy going out for one here and there once in awhile, but would rather be doing something more useful and constructive. I really want to meet someone iniatially to date and see if it develops into something. I want to give love and be loved-what everyone wants. Well, like I said about the wine, wouldn't mind having one on a date. I promise I will not get drunk or silly like that. A wine tasting would be an excellent idea.
