Get me off this crack site! i don't know how much longer I can do this...lol. As much as I love my dog I think we'd both be happier if we added someone special to our day... Although I don't take myself too seriously I do have ambition, drive, & a successful career. Family is very important to me & I'm hoping to find some balance with someone that I enjoy spending time with. My friends would describe me as compassionate, loyal, and witty. I enjoy dry humour and need to be with someone who is easy going.What else am I attracted to? Chemistry seems to be so elusive & hard to define but when it exists in a friendship it can be magical. I’ll admit that I am a little bit shy and typically prefer a quiet night at home unwinding with a nice glass of wine rather then a night out on the town. I am a bit slow to open up at first and I take my time in a relationship- I really value intimacy and I need to feel an emotional connection to get there. For those with patience its worth the wait- to me being a lady and knowing when not to be are equally important. I’m not denying that I have ended up in some short term casual relationships along the way. I just find relationships much more enjoyable when my head is in the game.I am attracted to positive energy. I find kindness, patience, and generosity a huge turn on- and anyone who can put their own needs on the back burner once in a while is a hero in my eyes. You have to live and take chances and make things happen, they're not going to just do it on their own. And I'm not afraid of a little excitement, road less traveled or taking a few chances. My father was a HUGE comedian, adored him! Always made me laugh. He passed his sense of humor down to me and of course, my kids are the same. I love to laugh! I don't like to be around negative people. Again, life is too short to dwell on negative things, I prefer to see the positive. I don't care for overly critical people either. No one is perfect, thank goodness, and I'm far from it. But I don't need to be told constantly either. I believe in accepting and learning from all of our differences. No one's way is the ultimate RIGHT way, it's the right way for THEM. I'm perfectly capable of agreeing to disagree. I love getting to know new people and hear their outlook on life and how it's different. I would never judge or put down someone for believing or feeling different than me. Something else my parents taught me. I'm full of compassion, affectionate (love to cuddle, love that subtle touch when passing by each other) and totally goofy. It's just me. I would definitely NOT be described as a stick in the mud, however, I am very classy. I don't mind picnics, watching movies at home, but I do love to dress up and go have a great evening! (minus the kids, haha)If this hasn't scared ya off, YAY me! Better be more than dinner and a movie, please...at our age it's been done to death. Get creative!
