Hi!I've read several articles on how to write a good profile on dating sites and they all seem to contradict one another, so I'm going to wing it here. If I miss anything, feel free to ask. Lets start with some of the basics... I'm somewhat recently divorced ***. I met my ex at a bar in '99 so its been a while since I've been out there looking! LOL I currently work from home, hoping to be able to continue to do so until fall of ***when my youngest will be in all day school. That being said, I'm a mom. I've got 2 young kids who primarily live with me. And last fall we adopted a small dog. I generally adore my dog, but there have been many occasions where I wonder what I was thinking when I got him! LOL Oh & I'm close to my family.; a brother... I'm just not as close to the oldest two. =)I marked my profile as having a "crafty" personality. I enjoy making things with my hands. I'm all over the place with what I make.; painted planters with my kids. I also enjoy listening to music. It's a toss up. I haven't been to a concert in ages, but use to really enjoy going. I love to read fiction. I'm almost always reading something. In the evenings I prefer reading or screwing around on the computer to watching tv. I do however love to go to the movies. Comedies, dramas, quirky, scary, chick flicks, (some) action... I like a little bit of everything. Hmmm, I enjoy being outside. I like going for casual bike rides, taking walks, just hanging out in the fresh air. Hanging out at a BBQ with good people is always a good time. I like going out to dinner or out for an occasional drink. In all honesty, I'm probably just as happy staying in with friends & having a beer as I am going out to a bar. I'm on here hoping to find a relationship. I'd love to find a guy that I click with & hope that it grows into something more. I hope that someday, I'll fall in love again, remarry & grow old together. Well, that's a glimpse of me. I'm easy going, honest, fun, love my family and always try to do the right thing. I love to laugh til my face hurts and am sure that laughter is the best medicine. I love the simple things in life and am not a frilly or fancy person. I had a co-worker tell me once that I was old fashioned.A nice evening out would be dinner and movie. I usually go more for drama or even a good action flick. Two of my favorites are "Dances with Wolves" and 'the Fugitive". An evening of mini golf is fun too. I like to sew and do some cake decorating also. I like to work in the yard and do small home improvement projects. I like to piddle with painting, but its just for fun. I'm not very good. I want to learn to play guitar and have went as far as purchasing an acoustic, but haven't gotten much farther than a few lessons. My interests are really all over the place.I would like to meet a good guy who is intelligent, funny, has their own life and interests but will be able to mix a little with mine. Someone to share things with.
