About Me

I'm easy going, honest, fun, love my family and always try to do the right thing. I love to laugh til my face hurts and am sure that laughter is the best medicine. I love the simple things in life and am not a frilly or fancy person. I had a co-worker tell me once that I was old fashioned.A nice evening out would be dinner and movie. I usually go more for drama or even a good action flick. Two of my favorites are "Dances with Wolves" and 'the Fugitive". An evening of mini golf is fun too. I have done some traveling and would like to do more of that. I like to camp and try to go a few times every summer. I grew up in the country and the mountains, and going home to my Dads is one of my favorite places. I have lots of different hobbies. I like to do arts and crafts projects with my daughter. I like to sew and do some cake decorating also. I like to work in the yard and do small home improvement projects. I like to piddle with painting, but its just for fun. I'm not very good. I want to learn to play guitar and have went as far as purchasing an acoustic, but haven't gotten much farther than a few lessons. My interests are really all over the place.I would like to meet a good guy who is intelligent, funny, has their own life and interests but will be able to mix a little with mine. Someone to share things with. I have a good career and am very capable, so I'm not looking to be taken care of, but nothing is much fun alone. *** you want to know more and hopefully we can eventually meet and see what happens.     Well....where to start? I guess you could say I'm a girly-girl and tomboy rolled into one. I like going shopping and getting dressed up, painting my nails and messing with my hair, but I also have no problem getting my hands dirty, working on my house. I'm a pretty independent woman. I bought my home a couple years ago and have been having fun updating it and making it my own. Also, because of the not-so-great economy, my mom lives with me. I have no problem if you have tattoos. As for what I'm looking for....Someone who is fun, and I can laugh with. Someone who isn't intimidated by the fact that I am independent. I not a woman who has a problem with a "guys night out". Family has to be important to you. Sharing some of the same interests as I do would be nice but we don't have to be glued at the hip.
