I am a hard working and determined woman, when I want something I usually get it. I find that when you work hard for something you tend to appreciate it a lot more. Like going out for dinner and the movies but just staying in ordering takeout is fine by me. I've met some nice people but I'm not feeling the chemistry that I need. I might not be "feeling it" and neither are you but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy a nice conversation over a meal and or a few drinks, therefore I'll pay my tab and you pay yours because I want to order what ever the hell I want but I don't want to feel obligated and neither should you. Giving this another try, just curious to see whos' out there. Its nice to be home!Spending a lot of time lately learning how to mountain bike. Been on a bike for 10 years but never singletrack, so a little challenge for a change! Very fun and a great way to see a lot of scenery. I'm active ***days a week running, biking, hiking, weight training, even swing dancing. I'm open to experiencing almost anything and have a lot of interests. I'm also looking forward to sharing your interests! I want to learn more about cooking and I have a huge list of countries and destinations I would like to visit. I honestly don't follow any sports but would be interested in seeing a game in person. It seems I need to elaborate a little more about myself, so here goes. I'm not the best at writing about myself, but I'll take a stab at it. board games, movies, amusement parks,amazing 6 year old son who has no concept of the definition of the word "daddy," so if children frighten you, I won't be too hurt if that is a deal breaker. With thatthat being said, if you have a temper or any kind of anger issues, I have ZERO TOLERANCE, I've already been in that type of relationship, and I won't do it again. I am also tipping the scale at about 170lbs so if that is "too big" I understand. Between being onon my feet for 9 plus hours per day and then chasing my son around, I just don't feel motivated to keep paying for my gym membership! (just can't seem to shake the baby weight!) I learned from my ex that I neither enjoy watching, nor participating in any kind of motorsports. After nearly being dumped off the back of a hayabusa, I have no desire to ever get on the back of another bike, I have too much to live for. I can find humor in almost anything, and I haven't quite figured out if I should seek someone just as goofy, or someone who can balance me out. I speak what is on my mind, there is no filter between my brain and mouth... honesty and respect are very important to me. I really don't enjoy being outside from about May to September... I really like air conditioning. I really dislike hangovers, so I don't drink a whole lot anymore. Another fun fact about me... when my ex bailed, he got to take one of my 2 dogs (which is fine, because she always pooped on the rug so it was a blessing in disguise) and took everything but the bills with him. One could say that I am not financially where I wanted to be at my age, which is extremely embarassing, but better that it comes out now that I couldn't finance the steam off of a hotdog, than wasting your time if you were looking for someone "financially secure," right? I know I sound like a "bitter party of one," but I am much happier now, and out of the absolute worst thing that has happened to me, came the best thing that has ever happened to me (my son) so I have hardly any regrets. I am not much of a snuggler.
