Have tried this site in the past with some luck but obviously not the type of luck we are all looking for on here. I have achieved a lot professionally and have a great family and group of friends and now I would like to meet someone to add a missing piece to my life. Although I am looking for a relationship, I am not looking to rush into one but I am also not looking to date a lot of different people. Right now, I do focus a lot of my energies on my job but still have plenty of free time should I meet someone. I work hard at the office but let it go after I leave. I am a very down to earth guy and would prefer to meet the same type of person. I can be quiet at times and talkative others...just depends on the situation. I like to listen to good stories. Not into the bar scene much anymore but still like a good night out with friends occasionally. Recently I have decided I want to visit every state and I have got a ways to go...would like to meet someone interested in seeing the country and traveling.     I am a simple country boy. I'm fiercely loyal to my family and friends and sometimes generous to a fault. My previous career was in law enforcement, from jailer all the way up to patrol corporal. I'd do it again, but I found out it's a lot harder to get a police job at 35 than 25. Now I'm 38 and the prospects don't look very good. To make matters worse, my license had expired when I got home from working in Iraq and I would have to start over. Yes, I did work in Iraq for 18 months as a civilian police advisor. I'm actually ok with movies, but I understand how that makes it hard to get to know one another. I'm pretty open, but if it involves a lot of money I'm not the right guy. Not because I'm cheap, but because I just don't believe it takes a lot of money to have a good time.
