Okie dokie...to be successful it says to ***talk about my hobbies...animals, decorating, art, vintage, repurposing stuff, walking, reading ***talk about my goals..I'd be happy to live till I retire and then some.... ***talk about yourself and what makes you unique..hmmm..If we are ALL unique, then none of us are really unique, right? I guess I'm very young spirited but mature...LOVE animals & try to help them (feed strays, rescue, etc...) Since helping an animal gets you nothing physical or monetary in return, I do think it is a good characteristic in a human being. ***Music...I'm flexible. I listen to K-LOVE normally, but I like pop, and even some hard rock (KISS) ALSO..here is another thing about me..I am really "upfront". I've learned in my old age (and yea, I know I'm old) that sometimes you have to look in the mirror and say "I'M GREEDY, I'M OLD, I'M FOOLISH, I'M FAT"..or WHATEVER the issue may be...and literally become disgusted with yourself..and either ACCEPT it or CHANGE it. But don't live in DENIAL about it...I see too many men in my age group posing with no shirts (WHY???) with beer guts hanging out stating they have an "athletic" build. In what universe?? In this area, I'd say 1% of men over the age of 35 actually have an "athletic" build (which means your waist is at least 10" smaller than your chest and you are muscular and toned) No one is perfect..I don't expect it or want it and its too hard to maintain..but I do think we should try to take care of ourselves and there has to be mutual physical attraction. It is SUCH a double standard that women need to look like "Barbie" but men can look like crap and we just have to suck it up and deal with it. NOTE: Also, if you live further than an hour (approx) away from me, UNLESS you plan on doing all the driving, I doubt it's going to work out. It's just too difficult to date someone who can't really "be there" for you for the little things...good luck to everyone. After a first meeting (which should be brief and in public) I think the "date" should be something agreed on by both parties. If you don't have a pic, I won't respond. Good luck. First I must say.....(interested in White Caucasian only and not interested in younger men under 45). AND you must have a picture before I would even think of responding. Thank you. I have a spirited nature and am sincere about life, work and most importantly in partnership. I see greater things of what could be rather than stay stuck, bored of what bothers me. I understand what drives me, whether good or bad. I strive to be a well rounded, normal good person. I believe life is a serious undertaking of which we get one chance.I love having a positive attitude. I try to see the neat things in life. Everything has the potential for being interesting no matter if it is a bad situation. No doubt I have my own bad moments but it is how you treat it and come out of it that makes the biggest impact. I want to constantly be learning about myself, my partner and everything around me. I am looking for a partner who thinks a relationship is special and important. I try to balance fast pace life with equal relaxation. So many things change quickly in life, I try to just go with it and not fight the change. I can get excited about the smallest things and I like that about myself because it allows me to see deeper meanings in unexpected places. Where ever I go I always make a friend. I bring life to a party and even the work place. People tell me I am one of those people you like to see walking your way. They say you know you are going to laugh, feel positive and genuinely liked when you are around me. I am one of those people that is always included and you want to go to for advice and an ear. Don't get me wrong I also need that as well. I don't know if this site will lead me to meeting that special person I find a connection with but if I didn't ever try I would never know. So, congratulations to all of you. Let's have fun trying!!! You will look back and say "Remember when I did that"? Oh yea, I have achieved quite a bit, trained for the Olympics in gymnastics, was a Bail Bondsman for a while, have Hairdressers license, Real Estate license and Accounting degree. Don't like thinking of first dates really. They are either too short when you really want to get to know more about someone OR too long when you don't. LOL They are inevitable though.
