If you can't be a good example, you'll just have to be a horrible warning! My motto for life : ) I work hard but need to have fun. I like to travel and really want a travel partner. I like going to movies, the theater, and outdoor concerts. I am independent by nature, but enjoy spending time with people who share my interests, or can teach me something and will share their unique interests with me. I also enjoy just staying home and watching a movie; I like documentaries (particularly on interesting people, just watched "I Like Killing Flies" and "Meet the Fokkens" on Netflix), indies, and classic movies. I love to play cards (poker) and board games, too.I'd like to meet someone who is open minded, compassionate, empathetic, and likes art and music (60's, 70's, 80's - love new wave, contemporary, classical, bluegrass, rock, pop, disco - most everything except contemporary country and rap) . I have a quick wit and love to let loose with a belly laugh. I'm very passionate physically, want to touch and be touched, love to sing around the house, and drive at night with my windows down and my music loud! I have changing interests and would like someone who is open to exploring them with me. If you have an interesting hobby, I'd like to hear about it. I absolutely LOVE to dance and would like a partner for this! I love being on the water! But I prefer lakes to the ocean.I am NOT interested in a hookup! I won't sky dive or climb a mountain or bungee jump, and I don't like tall roller coasters. I enjoy sipping a glass of wine (or Capt'n and diet with lime) at an outdoor cafe, walking and camping in the mountains, hanging with the hippies at a Bluegrass festival, or dressing up for an evening at the opera. I recently attended the "Sound of Music Sing Along";Myth Busters" stage show featuring Jamie and Adam - looks like a fun time.My biggest trip thus far was spending a month traveling around Australia in a motor home. Very casual and fun traveling is my style. I have yet to make it to Europe, but plan to go next year. If nothing else, let's be travel partners!! If I sound interesting to you, then let's chat! After a couple of messages, I like to talk on the phone to see if there is truly a mutual interest in meeting. If so, then I'd love to sit outside and sip a drink in a comfortable setting, but I'm also open to suggestions. What would you like to do?

Woman. 48 years old. Zodiac sign: Aquarius.
Looking for: man. In age: 45-55
Thanks for stopping by.I enjoy the outdoors camping, hiking and canoeing in the summer. I love taking drives to places I have not been before. A nice picnic, watching the sunset, cuddling on the couch with a good movie........ It is not really easy to post on here what you are really like so if there is anything you want to know please ask. First dates are pretty awkward so I would prefer maybe a walk or something brief to see if it leads to a common interest or a spark (yes I think there has to be a least a little one)

Smart, Sassy, quick witted, funny, committed Christian looking for the same. I'm a middle school band/chorus/theater teacher with a degree in vocal performance. I like to try new things and consider myself to be adventurous. I've been to Africa, Germany and Honduras and would love to travel to even more places if given the opportunity. I have a large family and we are all very close. I spend quite a bit of time with my niece and nephew...taking them to all the latest family-friendly movies. We like to go to amusement parks or the gym together. I'm in the process of serious weight loss and have been quite successful up until now, but I still have quite a bit to go before I reach my goal. I mention that because my lifestyle currently includes very healthy eating and regular workouts. I would like to meet someone who will be supportive toward that goal.I'm not looking for someone to complete me, I'm looking for a mate...someone with whom life can be shared. I love to laugh and use humor regularly. I enjoy learning and am driven to know more about just about everything. I'm conservative and Christian, but not judgmental or critical. I believe that to be like Christ is to be loving, period. If you like what you read here, send me a message. I'm trying this site out to see where things go. Life is too short not to share it with someone you love, so let's see if we can live it together.I'm looking for someone who's a Christian, who's honest, ready to be in a relationship leading to marriage, and willing to explore the possibilities that a relationship can offer. I like a man who is attentive, but not smothering. A man who is intelligent, chivalrous, has a great sense of humor, and is a bit old fashioned.I have to be honest and say that I am NOT looking for an ***, chat or pen pal. I am looking to meet someone face to face and develop a real relationship. I would like to exchange a few ***, chat with you and talk with you on the phone a few times and then move to a face to face meeting. I want to look into your eyes as we talk, hold your hand and kiss you if the mood strikes. We can't do that unless we actually transition from this site to a face to face meeting! There's no sense investing a great deal of time and effort developing a false sense of a relationship if we don't ever plan on taking the next step, so what are we waiting for? Let's get started! I'm ready...are you?So, enough about me...what about you? I can promise you that I will be a respectful partner. I will not nag or belittle you. I will be supportive, loving and attentive. You will be well-fed and well-loved. You will not be blasted with all the things that need to be done when you see me after a long day. I will greet you with a hug and a passionate kiss. Your friends and family will love me, and I will reciprocate. I'm open to just about anything, but I believe that the best first dates are informal with an emphasis on really getting to know each other. An afternoon coffee works great...if things work out, the date can turn into dinner! :) If it doesn't, you've got a boost of energy for the rest of your day, and you got to make a new friend. I call that a win-win.
