Hello... I am hoping to be able to meet some really great people through this sight, but ultimately searching for that "special" friend. **Race/Ethnicity is not a factor. (I find that I get asked that question a lot)HONESTY is the first and foremost quality that I value in an individual. Loyalty, Integrity, and having a sense of family are also among the list of “gotta haves”... I am a playful ~cat~;fun" thing, so you must be some what playful yourself. I like to do silly and romantic things that will make you smile, shake your head or laugh outloud. I also appreciate giving and receiving little "reminders" of affection. (ie.. a note, a flower picked along the roadside, etc...)I have been told that I have a great sense of humor. I must admit, I love to share laughter with friends and family. I do also have a more serious side. I am a single parent and I work full time. While my schedule is a busy one, I would still love to have a special relationship with the right person.I am not a size 3 and also not a BBW. I am plus size woman, one of my male friends says I should say I'm "thick", he seems to think there is a difference. *lol* I just don't know, none of it sounds very flattering. I'm just me... My eyes are gray/blue and my hair is really long and brown with white/silver that frames my face. I want butterflies when I think about "him", I want us to look forward to us being together if we are apart, but not have to be together ***in order to feel like a couple. I tend to do things on the spur of the moment... I have a rather odd schedule at times, so I just do things when the mood strikes. I am a ***odd years. I am a workaholic, but would love to meet a nice gentleman with whom to spend the little bit of free time that I do have. I am in my 40s (the upper end of my 40s...sigh....). and am ideally looking to make friends....but if something sparks from that, all the better. Not necessarily looking for "happily ever after" (but not opposed to that, if it happens). I am NOT looking for casual sex or one-night encounters. Not a heavy drinker, though when I let my hair down, I do enjoy a good scotch, a martini or a nice glass of wine. No smoking or illicit drug use. I don't litter and I recycle. I drink WAY too much coffee.Though finding a man to date would be wonderful, I'd also love to make a friend or two. Most of the friends I have no longer live locally at present, so would really enjoy making a few friends locally, if possible.Again I'm absolutely NOT interested in casual sex, one-time encounters, etc. Please excuse my restating this. I just don't want waste anyone else's time -- as well as my own -- so would rather as emphatic about this as I can be. Dinner and/or coffee and dessert, at some smallish venue off the beaten path with candlelight, music (though at low enough a volume to be able to talk and get to know one-another) and a reasonably mellow atmosphere, where they wouldn't mind if we lingered for a couple of extra hours, if we hit it off and were enjoying one-another's company.

I like going to movies, the theater, and outdoor concerts. I also enjoy just staying home and watching a movie; I like documentaries (particularly on interesting people, just watched "I Like Killing Flies" and "Meet the Fokkens" on Netflix), indies, and classic movies. I'm very passionate physically, want to touch and be touched, love to sing around the house, and drive at night with my windows down and my music loud!
