I must be honest in that selling myself with a few words to describe who I am, pretty much Sucks! Why cant things be simply anymore?-) Now we have come to this, computer dating, I am not a fan of computers and much prefer person to person contact. Some of my closest friends are in my life because I took the chance and said "hi" to a stranger. So, I am putting myself out there to try to meet some new friends without hanging out in the bar scene! Looking for someone to go to a game with or watch one at a friendly pub. A dinner companion with great conversation and a good sence of humor would be a nice evening also. I listen to all types of music, and equally enjoy attending the Theatre or the Zoo. I am comfortable in a dress and high heels or jeans and a t-shirt. I do not like the cold, winter months. I much perfer the heat and beaches of the Dominican Republic, or even a beautiful warm day hiking in Banff or fishing along the Bow River. I am just a few months away from being an empty nester, but have a home with 2 Golden Retrievers and 3 cats. Aside from a part time job in healthcare, and having my own business, I am involved in volunteer work, and try to give my time to help others when I can. Although I am very strong and independant, I also enjoy walking hand in hand with a warm and caring man to share with him the softness of being a woman. I myself, will no doubt, be full of nervous anticipation of meeting for a first date. Likely meet at a resturant or pub, or a stroll through the zoo. Lots of talking, smiling and laughter as we get to know each other and hopefully grow more at ease. I guess where we met for this wonderful date, would depend on what happens next. ie afternoon at the zoo may lead to dinner. If we don't hit it off so well, we go our separate ways and wish each other all the best and goodness that life has to offer. If we do hit it off great, then we make plans to see each other again and see where life takes us.

Hi, Ok, about me:I am friendly, helpful, (brutally) honest, intelligent, encouraging, opinionated, strong willed, authentic, indpendent, funny, respectful, realistic and out-going. I am not into fine dining and social status is of little importance to me, Im more of a casual kind of woman. But dont get me wrong, I greatly admire drive and determination within a person. Many times I have been told I am easy to talk to. I believe that to be true becuase it is important that I listen to what is being said and to make that person feel comfortable. I enjoy long quality converstations and, hopefully, so do you. It is my personal mission to enjoy each day as much as I can. I like make people laugh or at least smile. I will say good morning to people sometimes on the street. I cannot help but move (albiet discreatly) to the music from my ipod when on commuting. I feel compelled to dance around my living room when a totally awesome song comes on the radio (Rock ***. As much as I like to just relax at home I also like going to concerts, I still go out dancing occassionally and yes I drink too (only socially) and I am a happy person when I drink but ...also .. really chatty (yikes!). When I watch movies its usally action, comedy or drama but no horror (cluck cluck). I like to play pool but not very good at darts. Bowling is ok, comedy clubs are fun and never been to a play but would like to go someday. I know these activities may seem very main-stream, what do you like to do? When outside I go for walks mostly. I am not involved in any team sports anymore thanks to petural femoral syndrome (bad knee). But I can be a great cheerleader for you if play any aports.
