HI I have been on this site for a while now and think I should be more specific on what I am looking for...so here goes... I have 8 indoor cat's ..so being allergic to them would be difficult.....We all have some type of baggage..but please make that past baggage..once meeting someone and finding that there is chemistry and interest..let's get to know each other I enjoy the outdoors, boating, fishing, snorkeling or diving, walks in the park, picnics. anything adventurous zip-lining, repelling, white-I have been in the medical field for 25 years and it has taught me to live life to it's fullest...to many times have I heard "so these are the golden years" go do what you want now because you don't know what the future will holdWhat I am looking for in a man...Someone to be my best friend, common interest, and then the interest that we each bring to the table,someone to hang out with laugh and be our silly self's. 50 mile radius.and ***please and also My birthday is May of ***......52 : ) First date hmmmmm. I think that meeting someone for the first time should be a place where you can sit and talk, maybe a few drinks, dinner. It's nice to find common interest and build from there.

One of the things that attracts me most to a man is his sense of humor. The second thing is intelligent conversation and the third well...that's a guys arms. :- After playing around with the title far longer than I wanted to ... I ended up with shire and went with it. I don't know why. I am out going and have no problems making friends where ever I travel to. I have a totally corporate job but sport tattoos and love motorcycles. I am self sufficient...both emotionally and financially. You should be too. I am not looking for anyone to pay for me but I would like to meet someone who can afford to travel with me and go to events. While I do like to go out and do various things. I'm totally ok with down time at home as well.I have an awesome older married daughter. Children are important but you should have time to date. My belief is that you only expose your children to individuals you are serious about and that doesn't happen on the first few dates.I go to the gym at least 4 times a week. I don't smoke. I do drink socially -I am Irish after all. Health is important to me. I put a "few extra pounds" on my profile because I'm not really sure what "average" is. I think curvy would have been a better word. I've never had anyone complain. My pictures explain it best. :-)I love the water ...especially the ocean. Any activity in it or on it. I have salt water in my veins! I like to cook but sometimes a bowl of cheerios will do.I like wine tours ...are there vodka tours?Some times a good book and a glass of wine on a summer day is the best way to spend the day.Yellow makes me smile ...it is my favorite color. Followed closely by red...passionate.I like to learn ...tell me about something I don't know. Show me how to do something I have never done. I am looking to e-mail and exchange a message or two.
