Now that my son is nearly grown, I have more time for me! I've been told I have a big heart. Born and raised a Catholic. It is my foundation, and has helped to shape who I am today...although I haven't been to church much lately, I am more spiritual than ever. I find that I no longer need rules and structure to help me be my best possible caring and compassionate and peaceful me....I try to live by the Golden Rule. When you think about it, isn't it the basis behind every world religion?I hope to find a like minded, passionate man who also does not fit the mold. Time to get some popcorn or M&Ms, and a bottle of wine! And, FYI: It'll get more than a "Hello, You're Cute" OR "How was your weekend?" to get my attention. And, I'm not into long distance relationships; nor interested if you have a significant gut on you. I"m looking for healthy and attractive, amongst all this. YOU: I'm hoping to find someone that is compassionate about the world around him....someone honest (okay, mostly...but, always when it's important), positive (or tries hard to be; I know, this is a tough life, eh?), sensitive (you know, has a heart, cares about the little things too), intelligent (used wisely and kindly), a good communicator (doesn't go into his man-cave every day; but, I will respect his need for down-time), healthy and fit (normal BMI: body mass index - So, what is yours? Mine is 19.9; If yours is over 25, we are not likely a match), respectful of others' opinions and beliefs, trusting, balanced, has no compulsive behaviors (such as gambling, alcoholism, lying, stealing, smoking anything including weed, or any other drug seeking activity, etc) ...Did I just lose the rest of you? Oh, and has no STDs, including cold sores. I know, STDs is a sore subject. I'm so sorry, But, it's just something I don't want, thank you. We don't talk about it; but, we should! This would include HPV (Warts), HIV/AIDS or HSV (Herpes). The incurables. The rest are mostly curable, so not too worried about the rest. Got all that? If not, there's Google...lol. He would be confident, but not arrogant; a hard worker, but not too much of a workaholic; loving, but not smothering; serious, but has a great sense of humor. Someone trustworthy (you know, does what he says he will do, have my back if I need). Someone that will exude a magical feeling when I hear his voice, or feel his touch, or just think about him. He will be outside the box on occasion, not an average man, nor an average build. He will be in incredible shape for his age, and magnificently adorable to me. His smile will make me melt. His eyes will penetrate to my soul. I want to feel one with him. His personality will sweep me off my feet, make me laugh, make me miss him when I'm gone. So, if you don't show some of your personality in your profile, it'll be hard for anyone to get excited about you....you'd blend in with the rest. He won't be deathly afraid of commitment; and commitment is something that he seeks with the right gal...but, yes, slow is good. He should not be afraid to fall in love or to say "I love you". He would not love his dogs more than me. Better if he has no dogs, lol. (I do love dogs...but, when they are competition, hmm.) Aaaaand, we would not live more than 1 hour away from each other. ** Intermission/potty break!ME: Overall, I am much of what I ask for in a man. I have no STDs, and am generally healthy and fit (can always improve, yes), with no psychiatric disorders (not bipolar, etc). I'm mostly bubbly, with a good sense of humor (usually people laughing at me), but serious about life in general. I'm a giver; but, hope to balance that out better. I am honest and loyal. I'm not a fighter; I'm a pleaser. Due to this, I've had short relationships in the past, being attracted to the wrong men...me being a codependent. But, I hope that I've passed that phase...though still working on it. I have lots of compassion, and integrity. I hope to explore more of who I am through my partner.
