I am a single, independent woman that looks forward to every day no matter how complicated or simple it may be. I have an appetite for life!I am passionate about running and I am currently training for an ultra-run.I love the outdoors and sharing it's wonders with my two children. I am a genuine person. I believe in treating people how you would like to be treated....integrity is a personal value that is of extreme importance.I love to laugh and cry. I believe the rawness of our emotions emphasize their beauty and make us feel truly alive!I am not afraid to tell someone how I truly feel.All kinds of music interest me....I usually run with my ipod for inspiration!I am a warm, caring individual that encounters all age groups in my professional life.I am a people person and outgoing.I want every day to count!!!!My friends tell me I like to take risks and this is one right?I am ready to meet someone who would like to share experiences,a laugh, a dinner,coffee or a glass of red wine, a hike or a run,a trip to the beach,or museum.As for goals....I would like to take a photography class and pottery class. I do teach figure skating to children during the winter months. First dates can be a little stressful, but meeting some place for a meal, a drink, or a coffee are always safe bets.Taking a walk or a hike to share a picnic or a view are nice too!

I like to go see bands, I like to go to fairs,antiquing,walking,motorcycles,going to the beach,snuggling & if you are having a bad day & need to be held--Heck I like that to. I love to make people smile-I care if that person next to me is ok. i was sad for so many years that i love to be happy all the time,i love to laugh & make people laugh.When u have a chance to hug-hug someone it may be your last--when u have a chance to hold hands-hold them as the moment may never come again--If u have a chance to love again--love with all your heart as that chance may only be one last chance--so love that person to the fullest. My children are a big part of my life actually they are all i have right now but they are willing to share me with the right someone.. So i guess if this all sounds right to you give me a yell!! It all depends on what interests we both have in common, we could go to a movie or go out somewhere for a couple of drinks or go for a walk or whatever we both decide on doing--it would be a ***date..and if that all goes well who knows what the future will bring.In life you must learn that just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have...

    My hobbies include travel, photography, music, writing and reading. I have worked in local government for 23 years and am looking forward to semi-retirement in ***. As long as it isn't loud heavy metal or rap, I probably like it. My favorite band is Counting Crows - if you've seen them live, you understand. My idea of a good first date is a "beverage date". I don't mind having to shout over a live band to be heard, but it's not a good idea for a first date. Dinner dates are great, but I've been in a situation where I decided I didn't like a guy before dinner was even ordered - it makes for a very long evening when you have to be polite to someone when you just want to leave.
