A little about me:My kids are grown, out of the house, and I'm looking for someone to get through my "bucket list" with. I try to live my life without a lot of expectations. Life is too difficult as it is without placing expectations on someone you hardly know. I'd like to meet a person that is responsible, can laugh easily, is willing to discuss "deep" topics, carry a conversation, and is ready to have fun. On a first date I would enjoy the opportunity to be someplace where we can talk and get to know each other - the zoo, a walk through the park, dinner and maybe a club where the music is nice but not so loud you can't have a conversation. Just please don't take me to a movie on a first date, please (the use of the word "please" twice was intentional).

Like most of the profiles I've read, I do enjoy anything outdoors and enjoy competitive sports. I am always up for an adventure and lead a full life. What's missing is someone special that I can share those moment with. I am not a couch potato, but on occasion, don't mind relaxing in front of the fire on a cold Friday night. I am very family oriented and prefer intimate settings with family and friends, backyard BBQ's and home cooked dinners. If you like to cook, that is a plus, I enjoy cooking with a partner, but if you don't, I won't mind you watching and enjoying great conversation over a glass of wine. I also don't mind dressing down to go to the local pub for a Burger or dressing up and seeking out a restaurant I haven't tried. After all, variety is the spice of life. Outdoor seating at a restaurant on the water, a nice wine bar, or a casual meal with a somewhat intimate setting where we could spend time chatting and getting to know one another.
